How to re-create

Both characters have counter attack buff lets say my Exe and opponents Martyr

My Exe has Giant Slayer mastery (GS)

Martyrs turn, she attacks Exe (both have counter attack buffs present)

Exe counters her attack by hitting back, his hit also procs GS for extra damage

after his attack Martyr attacks him again before turn meters begin to refill.

 *Turn Meter Freeze*     Martyr > Exe > Martyr     *Turn Meter resumes*

I believe the game calculates GS as a separate attack, not part of the initial counter and therefore the attacking champion gets to retaliate to an attack they initiated
