Fusion requirements

Just a quick one guys, i havent done a fusion in some time- they just take too much time for me to do.

But i decided to do this one and all ok so far, then today champ training... 9350 points required.

Have the point requirements been like this for some time? it seems very high? i thought it was around 7.5k usually.

This was going to be my first fusion in a while but looks like i may have wasted the resources as not sure i have the brews for that.

Was just thinking the same thing - given the dungeon divers is also pretty high is this increase in thresholds  going to be repeated in all the different tasks - if so not sure I have the resources (or patience) to be honest.

Yeh that is my feeling too, when i saw it was a fragment event i thought i would do one for once.

I even popped 1200 green shards for summon rush which was mind numbing

But this just seems too much for me, i didnt know if it was level based perhaps.

Unfortunately this might just be perception bias, as the current points in the champion training event is pretty consistent with what previous events have been.

3500/9350 is the most common reoccuring milestones out of all of the events since January 2021.  It isn't even the ones with the highest either, with 6 other events having a maximum milestone points requirement that is more than 10,000!

The most recent example of the 3500/9350 range is Lonatharil, though it might have been less noticable if some were gunning for an epic and didn't need to get all 3 rares (15x Wuji – 20x Carlinia – 20x Anchorite), but it was there. Nari, Gaius and Bivald are essentially identical fragment summons to this one with regards to the training event points though.

Thanks, can completely accept that, i never do the ones where you fuse epics and i think the last fragment i did was gaius or bivald so it has been a while.

It is fair to say that the points in these types of events do fluctuate quite a bit, with some as low as 5K for the last milestone, so I never really know what Plarium is thinking here.

That said, I do think the training event is without a doubt one of the more time consuming one for these types of events, as it really isn't a "set and forget" type of situation.  As a result, I think a lot of people do notice it significantly more than the various dungeon ones

The training tournament is usually a bit easier to manage in terms of points

Thanks RoseRoyal - yes think you're right , it's the most hands-on part I suppose and when you don't do many fusions (I've only done Helicath) it does seem daunting!

From your table, i guess its normal people feel this way, we tend to remember only the last time, and the last comparative one was Dreng, with a much lower requirement (which as your table shows, was abit out of ordinary)

Hopefully with the long timer on the champ training, you can farm some too, and get it with the combination of brews and farming. Hopefully, that is....

I popped 2900 green shards and had fun doing it.  That is always the best part of a fusion event for me.

I am using energy faster than I expected on dungeon divers and wondering if I will have enough to last the entire fusion.

Yea, this first Dungeon Divers is unusual in that it only really had Ice Golem running parallel with it.  Normally they would have 2 other events running parallel, such as two dungeons.  The latter would allow you to complete one dungeon event, then start the next, and by the time both were done then Dungeon Divers would also be either complete, or almost.

With only a single event running parallel, then it means you have to use a lot more energy "outside" the fragment event, which is a waste.
