The speed and crit rate one is nice. Of course, what chestplate you use will make a big difference here. We need to find a lot more crit rate somewhere.... :)

The short answer is - none of those are good gloves for *your* Royal Guard, because you need him to be at 100% CR. If you can't get there with substats from other items, you'll want to use CRATE gloves.

But if you were to assume you *did* get those CRATE substats, then I'd lean towards the first or second, but probably the second, since you'll get quite a bit more speed.

Yes to the last question. Having 100% CR is paramount. He is difficult to build, especially for early game, because in order to shine, he needs everything: CR, CD, ATK, ACC, and at least some speed. 

If you have a CR aura champ like Bad El or Soulbound that you use you can get away with less CR, and if you have someone else to put increase CR buff on top of the aura, you can focus more on CD and ATK.

Does he have masteries yet? If not, you'll gain another 5% CR, which, with that chestplate you plan on adding, puts him up to 84% CR - that's a pretty respectable amount. I'm not a huge fan of how little HP and DEF he has, but maybe after bringing him to 60 those will reach more reasonable levels. He's a *bit* slower than I'd like - would prefer him to be closer to 180 SPD. Especially at your gear level, don't worry too much about set bonuses. Try to focus more on the stats. But overall the items are pretty good. With the banner unlocked, hopefully you'll get that remaining speed you need.

I use fitting room for that. Early game, it's stats over sets. Hell, I still have some of my top champs rocking mish-mash gear because the stats are great. Key pieces to look for:

- speed boots with crit rate on them

- HP% or Def% chest with crit rate on them, if not, an accuracy chest with crit rate may work for now

- top row with crit rate on them

- amulet with crit damage

- accuracy banner with speed  substat

If you can get your crit rate into 90%+, you can start looking at crit damage gloves. Also remember the crit rate from the mastery. 

THEN, and only then, see if you can incorporate some sets, like crit damage, savage and what have you. 

So I should focus HP% chest over attack% chest right? 

I have the 5% one yea. 

Should I try an Acc / Hp% or Def % chest on him with CR? 

I was basically just trying to get him to 100% CR and highest CDMG I could get. Would it be better to have a bit higher speed? 

I actually just rolled a Curing piece and got triple CR (it's defense % as main stat. wondering if that's good) 

 

I also have several other pieces I'm just filtering with CRate, but they have higher speed I can put in (the boots aren't +16 yet) 

 

 

 

I like the chestplate and the relentless boots, you can get them to lvl16 when you can. You can also glyph the speed and HP% on them for additional value. As far as shield goes, if Diabolist is your main turn meter booster, don't take her shield. Also consider crit. rate and divine crit. rate sets, you may get some additional c.rate from them.
