It's RNG. I've gotten 4-6 this month alone, but there are times when I won't pull one for a few months. 

I thought the first magic answer will RNG. RNG for my wife,for my all friends and my clan members. Or just a simple, dont touch the drop rate dear developer at the background. ;)

I got about 7 Sacred shards in the few weeks since we beat NM. Could the probability be weighed by who contributes the most because our clan has only 2 people hitting the UNM. Or maybe the reward pool is fixed and the less people participate, the larger their share? 

I can tell you this isn't how it works at all. There's no variation in drops based on contributions or amounts of players hitting a certain difficulty.

Faulty math aside, perhaps if you have tracked drops from this many people you should mention it at the start of the post and not wait to drop said reply as a "gotcha" when someone with an opposing viewpoint gives you a well intentioned reply. 

Oh not thats the problem when i multiply 5 and not four. Ok result is 480 and i didnt counted my wife, my friens and clan members zero success for get a sacred shard. Thats more over 5000 try to get a sacred. The result is a big zero, thats same. Sure, they get same RNG accidentally.  :D 3-5 months nothing, 3-5 months normal drop. Cyclical repeats over and over.

But in the past never happened this with CB drops. Every mates and friends got 3 shards minimum in a months. That was too sure accidentally. :D The RNG god changed in the office. >D

I am not farming UNM for that long but i would say that i get a sacred (and a lego book if that matters) around once per week or maybe 1,5 weeks. But yes, they are rather rare and given the amount needed to get a 100% "chance" champ in their events they drop way to seldom.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to say every days drop CB a sacred shard. But 4 months without a sacred shard is ridiculous. And this is not my first time long period without sacred shards. This is never happened in the past. Just as i told, 3 sacred shard was a minimum drop formerly per month.

Other two months passed with 1 sacred from CB runs. Almost 6 months and got 3 sacreds. This is really normal ?

Maybe i need to write here if CB didnt drop for me sacred shards months ago. So strange, after i wrote my problem, i got instanly 1 sacred shard,1 gold book, 1 void shard and 1 ancient shard LOL. So, i cant write ticket after this drops. But maybe i need write here frequently, when i just pick up 3 sacreds after 6 months.

I get on average 1 sacred from CB  about 1 time every 2  months  of daily play

and I am happy for it . fact

Weirdly I've got at least 10 sacreds and lego books each over the last few months (don't count as such). I could be in for a really long bad run by the sounds of it given that sort of lucky streak!
