Hmm, sarina is not wrong here. I judged the point requirements to be 20 points per level. 

Them being at 10/level makes the last rewards obtainable but not motivating. 

The biggest value would be the XP/Silver boost...but to get that fast you need to spend quite some more...

Everybody should decide by their own whether this is worth the money...for me, neither charms, nor non6*-glyphs , ores or forge materials for a set I would not use are worth spending money...but as I said, everybody decides for him/her/iitself

You get 20 points per day for free, and it takes 20 points to upgrade a level. So, it would take 50 days to reach level 50. But the event is only active for 28 days?

OP - as far as I can tell there is no way to be sure that it isn't 20 points for odd-numbered levels and 10 points for even-numbered ones.

But, assuming it does indeed continue at 10 per level for the remaining 48 levels, and assuming the event is active for 28 days - you get a total of 560 points, and you need a total of 510 points, so you have a bit of leeway, but it should be possible to complete FTP.

Raiders, just for your information: you'll be able to unlock all 50 Levels of the Forge Pass with a grand total of 500 Points required to complete it even with the Core Pass (free one). From the second Level and until Level 50, you'll need 10 Forge Points to unlock each new level, NOT 20 as it was with Level 1.

You don't have to get 10 points on the 50th level. You start already at 1, and you only havt to get 10 points on 49, and are just level 50 at that point, which should make it 500 points total.

on a side note,if i opt to do the core and not buy the gold pass,do i still earn the armor set featured at the very end or is it just the crappy avatar pic? pretty lame prize after all that effort to get it done.

No. You must pay to get the grang prize:(

The prize is the rewards you collect at each stage.  I buy the cheap Forge Pass to be materials to forge more gear.  Plus you get up to 50% extra HP and Silver as you grind.  

Its a good value.

I thought they were speaking of the final gear set for completing 50 levels.

I'm fairly certain that's what they meant, too.

I meant that for me, the real prize is all the forge materials I get when I buy the pass.  The set is not the reason that I pay for forge pass.
