Here are the masteries I would be running on him, since you are likely wanting to keep him in Clan Boss and use him in content with bosses in general. Giantslayer is a big non-negaiotable if so.

More defense and higher HPs. Level 60 rather than 50 will help out a lot. Can you share his build?

tbh ive neglected apothecary as ive been focusing on my kael tayrel and roxam

I run this when a quest requires CB with a rare - using this setup he does well for healing/speed.  I also have him going attack for masteries for some extra dmg.

Edit : I use him for Ultra and Nightmare CB.

your low-rank artifacts are what's killing him here. gauntlet, chestplate and boots are the three most important pieces of gear a champion has and even if you have the right main stats here, the fact that they're all rank three or four means he's going to end up with very poor stats overall. get them replaced with stronger gear asap. 

statwise, you'll want probably want to go one hp%, one def% (doesn't matter which one goes on gauntlets and which one on chestplate), and of course speed on the boots.

That's definetly a good way to build him. But there is another option: I went for crit rate gauntlets and aimed for 100% crit chance to activate his critical heal everytime he uses this skill. That way to build him definetly needs a good hp% chest, you would not use def% as main stat anywhere (ganuntlets crit rate, chest hp%, boots speed).

Don't worry about that crit, as stated get hp and def on gloves and chest with speed sub of course. And def/supp masteries for survivability unless using for CB.  If you need damage from apothecary u have bigger problems  :)
