Not  likely, drop to g4 if u need to farm medals.  The defenses get worse the higher up u get except right at plat border. Thats when I set weak defense and can drop from 3800 to 3500 fast. So its back to normal defense quick.  I am GH maxed, so I just use g5 to test teams for tag.  And learn about other comps from the tough defense.  Fighting mith teams mostly this week just for fun :) usually 2 of team in stoneskin too 😆 

The Stoneskin is very problematic for me. I am going to have to build a "Go Secondest" team I think. Whose Cardinal can go slowest, with the higest resist, might be all top end arena is right now.

Still haven't built Cardinal yet, probably won't.  Rather build a champ i can use in arena defense and hydra.  

I don't think cardinal is anywhere in high arena.

After reset, I did see a lonely Arbiter. I felt sorry for her, so I put her out of her misery. 😁

S S Cardinal is stonk on offense, but weak on defense, since everyone knows she's in Stoneskin so they bring block revive. I've only seen two such teams in defense this time. 

G5 is definitely not the place to farm medals. I should put weak defense too, but I'm afraid I'll drop below bronze 1 in two shakes of a lamb's tail, or stand constantly on guard. 

G 5 was to help the presure of the lower levels I think was their reasoning.

To me it did not change anything and may have made it worse IMO.

The surprise Stoneskin Cardiel and Serris is what is getting me.... I can plan for a Cardinal yes, and bring Lydia.

stoneskin cardinal is an easy defense to attack, but i think she'd do well on an offensive team.  i do think stoneskin is disasterous for arena though.

I think she will be needed in offense when every other team is 2-3 stoneskin champs, stoneskin Cardiel and Siphis. I just can't deal with that when I'm built around debuffing with my champ pool.

I don't think it made it worse, per se. I do think that at first G4 got quite a bit easier, but now it's kind of back to what it was before G5/extended Plat were added. 

Extended Plat is a nice way to think about it, based on what I've been seeing.

Thankfully most don't have great stoneskin gear "yet".  So I run one of two teams:

been seeing screenshots of full stoneskin teams already.  eventually arena will devolve into who has the best stoneskin gear or who gets lucky on that 50/50 strip.

I haven't seen a full one yet, but it definitely is coming in the higest end of play, I think. There are a lot folks in clans dedicated to hitting Hydra, expecially in the "circles" some of the rest of the mod team runs in. They have a decent amount of Stoneskin already, and have had Mithrala for a couple weeks. 0_0

Ramantu is amazing... lady kimi as well.  My account is f2p as well.  Warlord was my 1st void lego at month 6.  Leo i just got a month ago.  

Did you get Kimi on the 150 ancients guaranteed event? Or some regular pull? I ask becuase I have NEVER saved enough for one of the big guaranteed events, outside of getting lucky for the Serris one

Saved. I prioritize guaranteed events over fusions and 2x.  Though this last one came up quick and I burned ALL my gems as well.

How long does it take you to save on a F2P acct, and how many of each shard do you try and keep on hand?

gaurunteed and pulling a few for fusions events is where its at.

i hit mercy every time on shards so i quit bothering with them.  #jaded

I work for every fusion. But the last one, Foxhunter, really took it out of me. That was SO MUCH work in comparison to all the past ones, seemed like.
