How do you reach 280 speed? I have been farming dragon 20+ for days now and still stuck at 260 speed. i have literaly spent about 4000-5000 energy and cant get past 260 still.
I noticed (after about an hour of farming the spider) that the ring and amulet DON’T drip with speed sub stats and assumed, yes naively at the time that was the reason I was missing 20 or so speed.
Any help is appreciated! Calling me a scrub for not knowing that rings and amulets don’t drop with speed sub stats isnt help! ;o)
Reaching a certian speed is just a game of luck my friend or just any speed above 280 best thing i can say is find an epic gear or lego the more stars the better and hope for a triple roll on it i have one lego gear with three rolls on It and it have me 23 speed by its self

fill the guardian ring for extra speed
use a champ with good base speed, it's much easier to bring Apo (base speed 106) to 280 than, for example, Gorgorab (base speed 97). The set bonus is 12%, it's roughly one point difference per set on top of the difference in base speed itself between them. So with same gear Apo is about 12 points faster than Gorgo
use lore of steel mastery
Example for Apo: base 106. 3x speed set (144.16) [the games calculates correctly 144.16, even if the .16 are not shown in the screen]. Lore of steel mastery (149.88 - I round up to 150 for easier calculation). Boots speed 6* lvl 16 (195).
You have 6 items with possible speed substat (including banner). You need roughly 14 speed per item to reach that, allready including glyphs. Yes, it takes some time to farm that, but 14 per item is not that much. A 5* item with one roll on a speed stat may give you 10 allready. +4 is achievable with glyphs.
In other words: 280 speed is possible without any double or triple roll in speed.

When you got that legendary peice with the triple roll, did you need to upgrade it all the way to find out it was triple rolled?

Im assuming the glyphs have to be 4-6 star also? I will screen shot my current bod as an indicator. Its demthyia and trying to get her to 280/281

double/triple rolls on speed stats on a few speed artifacts and/or glyphs will push you above it.
all your artifacts (including banner) need speed substats with at least 1 roll. 2 or 3 on a few make it easier.
it's not easy but your gear and rolls slowly grow over time. a year ago i was struggling to get 200 on champs, now that's my minimum speed on most and quite a few are getting into the 250-290 range with other artifact sets.

I justvstarted looking as i saw a youtube build and couldnt believe it required 280+ speed. I never play arena and that was the only area i really ficussed on speed. Most of my champs are around 170/180 speed!
now i really looking to push this build and do some good clan boss damage.
You might want to focus on 5-6 star star speed blueartifacts at this point of game with speed substat, as getting double roll on speed there is so much more easy to achieve than on epic or lego artifacts.

The boots are my favorite. I mostly use a lot of Common Speed boots gotten from 6-6 Nightmare Campaign. I see you have done the same with your Demytha, DarkbyDesign, which is awesome. I see a lot of folks, especially on the discord, that only want to farm their speed boots on Dragon, and that is just about impossible. Can spend all your daily energy for a year and never see a pair, My account has a SINGLE pair of 6 star, rare Speed set, speed stat boots from Dragon after ALL THIS TIME.
Anyways, with only needing double rolls on gear to hit 280, you might want to try running Nightmare Campaign on teh Queen Eva stage. That is how I got most of my initial Speed Gear to hit 300 for the first time, as it was easier to farm and roll double speed on Rare peices.

I started at 240 sonething and my quest has gotten me (now) to 276!
i need a speed set of boots with speed sub stat or a double rolled speed shield. i have spent THOUSANDS on trying and over the last few days not had a single speed shield (let alone one with a doible speed roll.) Im so close to pulling it off. I got frustated and stopped trying but will start again tomorrow. Hoping for two needles in a mountain of haystacks is annoying ! Either speed shield with a speed x 2 roll or six star boots with speed main / sub stat.

i gave up looking for boots on the dragon. Its impossible. In about 15k worth of energy spent i didnt see a single speed roll on boots . i keep getting them and dismantling them. Infarmed the camoaign for those boots and RNG smiled on me finally.
thats last item (speed boots / speed sub stat / main stat) is basicalky the holy grail of RNG and all praise the blessed holy gods of speed RNG ......
Lmao. Well now i know that also! I got a shield earlier tiday and thought my struggle was over. It rolled with three seperate sub stats. All i needed was double speed and the ordeal was over. Back to prayers to the RNG gods i guess .
