So I need to point you up in the thread where Quinn dropped those two videos, and suggested taking Ninja up to 60. You 100% have the champions necessary to make this a really good account and you do not need to buy chickens. You need to be in Brutal 12-3, making food. You do not need to be in Nightmare campaign, at all. 

What are you talking about? You don't need chickens to upgrade a champ. You basically wasted two years of playing without levelling your champs.

1. Go to campaign brutal stage 12-3. Take your Kael and three uncommen lvl 1 champs.

If you do that while an XP-boost is active, your uncommen champs will be lvl 6 after the first run.

Repeat that 10 times (while XP-boost active, otherwise more often), until your uncommen champs reach their max level of 20. 

2. Go to the tavern. Take a lvl 20 uncommen champ and go to upgrade. Use two other, lvl 1 uncommens and upgrade your champ to 3*.

3. Go to campaign 12-3. Use your Kael and 3 champs of 3* lvl 1. Repeat that campaign 12-3 until your 3* lvl 1 champs became 3* lvl 30 champs.

4. Go to the tavern. Take a 3* lvl 30 champ. Go to upgrade. Take your 3* lvl 30 champ. Use 3 champs 3* lvl 1 to upgrade that champ to 4*.

5. Go to campaign stage 12-3 brutal. Take your Kael and 3 champs 4* lvl 1. Repeat that campaign stage until your 4* champs are lvl 40.

6. Go to the tavern. Take a champ with 4* lvl 40 to upgrade. Use 4 other champs with 4* lvl 1 to upgrade your champ to 5*. That champ, 5* and lvl 1, can serve as chicken if you waant to upgrade another champ to 6*

I've noticed that gear upgrades tend to magically succeed on 1st try or without many fail attempts, when i upgrade immediately after losing a battle and clicking the Upgrade Champion link that appears on screen temporarily.

it's like the game is saying, "hey kid you got banged out that time,  here's a few free passes on gear upgrade fails, get yourself a shiny new ice cream and try again.

This...is a bizarre bump six months later. But hey, at least you reminded me of my old pal Warthog.

    You are just lazy, my account have 250 days and i have 13 mobs with lvl 60, i have the last 3 fusions (hellicath, lonathar and walking tomb dreng ), CB on UNM with 2 keys and NM with 1, i make all the normal doom tower and right now i m stuck on floor 42 and hard doom tower, i do dragon dungeon floor 23, spider 24 and i never spended a cent on the game.

   Search for videos if u are stuck in something but what i see here is just laziness.

 

you open GREEN shards. 

Go to cmpaingn with scyl and 3 of that champions you just got. 

level them to top, 

open more shards

go to tavern 

level them up "eating" the smaller champs, 

keep doing so. 

btw, when i was 2 month old i could make a 5***** to 6 in one week playing like 1 hour a day. 

6 months on and people are still giving Warthog advice on how to upgrade champions!

I am stuck at Celestial Griffin on L90 DT Easy. Ayumilove has a guide for CG, which lists the good champs to use.  I did fine all the way up through L89 but this CG is impossible. I tried all the guide combinations but nothing seems to work.  Evidently there is some champ effect that works against you. I can get about halfway but that counter that goes up and up on the left just kills me.  The CG that was down at lower level was no problem.
