For me the Clan vs Clan tournaments always start at midnight and end sometime early in the morning. Is this a time zone thing that can be adhjusted. I tend to sleep at night so miss these every time.
They have always been set to begin at 3:00am central standard time (Chicago, Dallas) or 4:00 during daylight savings time. There is usually 15-20 minute lag during match making. Can't say about any other zone. I'm just guessing that match-making may be based on the clans primary language. But if they do, then hypothetically changing it from English to Russian, e.g., may change the start time. But I don't think even that is possible. I can't imagine there'd be anyway to change it per individual player. All the clan pretty much has to start together.

They seem to match you against the clan who scored the next closest amount of points was on the previous CvC. In the highest Tier 6 areas, they even plan CvC pushes to match particular clans on the next CvC.
For me, even the idea of doing that is ..... a lot..... of work and time. Too much. Crazy.

But they could start them at a time people are actually awake. and they apparently run so short that it's over by the time I wake up in the morning. just stupid

Em, they last 48 hours. Do you really sleep that long? The current one began over 36 hours ago and still has almost 12 hours to go.
