Bluestacks

I have it installed on my macbook.  Now I just need to know how automate dungeons and whatever else I can do with it.  Talk to me as if I'm an old half blind man. Or point me in the direction of bluestack raid guids. Thanks!

You can record macros with it, if that's what you're after. A macro is a scripted series of events that emulate user interaction. On the right side of the window, there should be an option to open the macro manager. From there you can start recording a macro, for example clicking on different locations on the screen, and then stop the recording.  Once the macro has been defined, you can name it, edit the settings so that it runs a certain number of times or repeats indefinitely and set a delay between the repetitions etc. It's not particularly intelligent and can't react to what happens, it just does what you've told it to do, so only use it if events are deterministic.

A simple macro for running dungeons would be to simply run a dungeon and see where the replay button ends up on the screen. Then start recording, click the replay button, and stop recording. It'll be a very short macro, a few seconds maybe. Save it, open the macro settings, set the interval between executions to approximately how long a dungeon run takes (with some margin), and select how many times it should run. You're done. When you want to start it, just click the play button for the macro. Just make sure you start a dungeon run before you do.

I assume there are also pre-made macros for Raid you can download if you google it. I haven't bothered personally.

One thing to add - if this works the way I expect, IE, to just repeat a series of actions that repeat exactly - you'll need to make sure the game window is in *exactly* the same position, and that no other windows/etc are blocking the location of the things you're trying to click on.

Bluestacks macros are all relative to the viewport. As long as you don't change the emulated resolution (causing the UI to change layout) you can do whatever you want with the window without having to change the macro.

This is correct. :)

Also, thanks for the walkthrough for Angwil, EGDNIT. :)

Thanks guys, you are all great.

I looked to the right of the screen and don't see the tools.  I checked on line and I can see what it's supposed to look like but it's just not showing up for me.  I'll check the video as soon as I have a bit of time.

Top right, there should be some arrows you can click to open the side bar.

Seems like it may not have been implemented for OSX, or at least not in version 4 as of 2 years ago. Unfortunate if it's still the case.

We need to get @Harbby in here. He uses Bluestacks on MacOS.

Harbby, how does Angwil do the macros and stuff?

So I messed around a bit last night. MacOS can currently only get bluestacks4 and I can't find anything about macros for that. Every article and FAQ about bluestacks and macros take me to bluestacks5 sections of the website.
