Lol 735k is not whales... that is minnows vs minnows. And at that level CvC should be of minimal concern 

Our clan (30M power) was matched against 90M powerful clan. Looks like matchup system needs some correctons...

Swgoh does the same thing, we call it whale day care. 

You probably got Unlucky draw and 2 or 3 from the other clan were after the Fusion rewards  

BUT, then again this is what happens when everyone IRL gets a Participation Award ..............

What fun is a team beating their opponent so easily? Why spend if F2P is good enough? The system is not conducive to sales or longevity. But then if most game studios are honest, very few understand how to balance and market their game. 

I don't mind losing, but getting my a.. handed to me by a team we have no hope of beating, nah check please.  But in the grand scheme of things no one cares who stays or goes, they care about their own needs. Way of the world really. Which is why it is so messed up lol

I dont PAY ,,, Used to, But after you drop 4000 or so on a game and then it just Shuts down

Last cycle we were neck and neck and the lead changed like 12 times over 2 days.  Both clans got top rewards on T5 I think, like 4.8M.  We got the personal rewards as well :)  It was the most competetive cycle I've experienced and I've played them all.  I have had some blowouts as well, both ways.  

I got 150k alone on one account last matchup and I'm free-to-play. I have 4 f2p accounts even and in total I got 500k+ for my clan and we wound up with 1.5 mil. There are certain things you need to do if your clan wants to win. Most importantly, save all books for CvC and save dupe rares or epics you don't need and feed them as books as well. Save all your faction wars keys until the day it starts. Burn through tons of forge materials. Etc. etc. etc. There are many things that can be done to rack up points for CvC

Interesting to see the scores! this was the first cvc after reorganisation of our clan (kicked inactives, replaced with actives) and we got 3.5 million.

Looking at the posts here we may move up a tier? (we are tier 2)

Oh OP it is swings and roundabouts, sometimes we get massacred, other times its really easy

I pulled 190k on my last cvc, I didn't spend any money. I'm def not a whale.

I think of CvC as a sideshow. Usually I hold off on booking champs, upgrading GH nodes and Glyphs (barring mission timing) for CvC and normally in the top 10 for my clan. 

If we win - cool. If not, oh well. It's not like it's any kind of skill competition. Just think of it as getting some bonus resources for timing out the stuff you normally do anyway.

Not sure leaving a clan over CvC when you are in the lower tiers is a smart move - unless you are putting up 500k yourself and the rest of the clan is nowhere close. Clans that focus on CvC are not going to want people scraping by with 50k in the low tiers.

Yeah..well, the last cvc defeat cost us our members with strong rosters.  They left.  But we will still face stronger teams because for a while we did well and won our first 4. The current matchup is another 430k to our 160k. 

So yeah I treat it as a low end farm.  If we lose more members, I am thinking about locking our join and keep our clan below 10 so cvc never opens anymore. 

and what do you gain by doing that? for a n00b clan, just get whatever free milestone you can.  makes no sense to purposely drop out of it, or to expect good players to stay in a low level clan?

I can see how the cvc causes friction after this cycle.

We jumped into T4 for this cycle... i am in a personal tier 4 as well.

We are neck and neck with the current opponents (both on 3 million with 18 hours to go) and half a dozen clan members are on less than 20k points 

It irritates me thinking about missing the personal rewards when some members havent contributed- and while i will not actually express that irritation on discord or clan chat- i can well imagine the peer pressue to spend in the top clans.

I get that 100%.  We are in top teir, and will lose 1 or 2 of top 5 each week since they are frustrated that top 15 does 80% of points....

But the OP clan did less points than some in my clan do individually lol

The individual rewards requiring clan winning will cause additional clan divide for sure.  Though it looks like we are going to win surprisingly after a close loss last week.  But I sure as hell am not pushing for the 400k individual points.

God no, i dont think 400k is possible as ftp! I hit 200k but will miss the 300k personal reward even if we win.

Possible only for end-game f2p, and probably only if during a fusion with the right events going those days.  

I had an idea. What if the ststem took your last 3 to 4 clan total scores. Added it together, divided by 3 or 4 and used that as an average. Then determined your opponent based on their average  score?

This just in our opponent just passed 500k to our 160k. ...>.< I am seriously thinking about 9 so it doesn't enter our clan until our weaker members level up or we find stronger. Talking to players/guilds in other games, they say Plarium makes EA seem not so bad. Never thought I would see that said.

It's already been pointed out, your clan scores are extremely low. In would guess this is t1? You don't need to worry about winning at this level just get what every milestone your capable of getting and enjoy the free bonus loot.

If it matters more to you do more to earn points, getting 50k is very achievable for anyone. If you can't get your clan to be active for cvc and it means that much to you maybe you are better off finding a clan that lines up to your expectations better.

At the end of the day cvc is a joke, and nothing more than some bonus loot every couple of weeks.

cvc is whale wars but all honesty just do what you need to as we do to get the rewards win or lose - we have guys who cant do cvc each week which is fine then then next one they go nuts and make up for it with 300 000 due to all the stocked up items 

yes the new personal rewards higher tiers look good but all honesty not going to break my account if i dont get them  and not going to spend money to try and get them - my spending days on raid are well and truly done FTP all the way since last september / early october and enjoying the game way more for it
