Yes, most people won't pull shards during a 10k event except for those that are very late game and:

• Have a lot of shards saved up (either through endgame content or whale)
• Have a lot of legendaries already and desperately need the one being targeted here to complete their roster

For most people, it is massively better to open during a 2x event, as you would statistically be more likely to get a useful champion to aid in game progression.  It also helps that a lot of 2x events are during fragment/fusion events too, so you are getting twice the rewards.

The 10x events used to be good when the champion pool was lower.  With the addition of so many champions to the game it has become sort of meaningly.  Plarium should increase it to reflect the growth

I spent ~$700 on the valk 10x weekend. I did not get valk. But on the other hand, if you are close to your mercy and you want these champz, might as well try.

Unless you can trigger mercy or you have basically all the champs you need except the particular one that is boosted, there's little reason to open during a 10x event alone. I did the math a while back for getting a particular legendary, and I think the numbers I came up with was 0.4% chance during a 10x and 0.08% during a 2x, but of course the 10x greatly reduces the chance of getting any other high rarity champ as well.

I opened all my shards trying to get deacon for instance when he was on 10x (this was before i had arbiter) and i didnt get him...despite dozens of shards

With krisk on the 10x, i imagine a lot of people will be spending, but i am not tempted to buy.

I agree, but there are very few champs i actually want nowadays to be honest...krisk obviously and valk obviously and a few more ...but most of the legos or epics i pull go into the vault.

only way id do this krisk even is if there was a x2 as well while there is a small% of void lego champs your chances of pulling krisk are very very slim these events are for whales especially this one.
