Of all of the substats, crit % is the only one that has a hard cap. This is especially problematic for the 6* crit % gloves, which provide 80% crit rate. Champs have a base crit % of 15%, which means these gloves bring them up to 95% on their own. You'll almost always have more crit % from other items, which means running 6* crit % gloves is almost never providing all the bang for the buck.

I'd suggest some form of flat damage bonus for crit % exceeding 100%. I don't know what the right scaling of this would be - off the top of my head I'd think something like 1% more damage per 10% crit% over 100%. But something would be nice.

Anything that makes more gear better for us basically means less grinding needed and not going to happen lol.  Thats why CR gloves are not often used as end-game gear.  I'd say except for like an alure where you need CR but not for damage purposes, I don't use CR gloves at all.

This is how all games with crit rate have ever worked, ever.

Also 6* star gloves give you 60% crit rate not 80%, and you will almost always want to go with crit damage gloves instead of crit rate. You will only go with crit rate gloves if you can't get 100% from the rest of the gear. And then, yes, it will be easy to reach 100%, but you're lowering your damage potential.
