It depends how much you play and how much you value progress in the game

The 9.99 a month gem pack is definitely the best value pack in the game... it can give you extra energy or if you saved them for shards you could pull a lot more on x2 events

It is about the same as a wow subscription, obviously mmo's have a lot more content for the money but if this is your primary game then why not

Just my opinion but i think buying masteries is one of the least efficient ways to use gems

I level multiple champs at the same time while within minotaur, i run a maxxed out miscreated monster to actually ensure the run is succesful, and the rest of my team are champs i want xp and masteries for.

But, i totally understand what a horrid grind minotaur is, i wish they had extended mino to 20 or 25 as with the other dungeons and well, they are your gems so ...if they get you out of a grind then why the heck not :)

If OP cannont do mino15 then gems for masteries is best use of gems imo.  Buying shards with money or gems is generally not optimal.

I can only do Mino 12 with 4 people gaining masteries....

If you mean monthly Gem pack where you recieve gems every day for a month. Absolutely YES

The gem pack for a tenner doesnt give much advantage really, its just much better than some of the other offers which are awful

The shard purchases seem the worst to me. I pulled 11 voids today for the event, all utterly useless rares.

My last three sacreds have been dupes as well (dupe epics)

I didnt pay for them, but plarium values its voids at about 5 dollars each so that would have cost me about 55 dollars if i had payed for the voids and about 50 dollars for the sacreds

In other words in order to 'pay your way to winning' it  requires spending silly amounts of money on .....pixels.

I  will  recommend  the  daily  gem  pack  without  hesitation.  It  has  an  amazing  value  for  it's  low  price!

Wasting lots of energy... better of farming chickens until your team is 100pct
