Apothecary is useful everywhere - i would be tempted to 6 star him but if you are after improvement in a specific area...
Achak is really good on spider
Royal guard is really good for dungeons 1-20
Fayne is squishy but good on clan boss
Frozen banshee is fantastic on clan boss.

Frozen Banshee IMO. She's very good at CB, and can last you basically throughout the entire game.

apothecary for sure. he's useful in every area of the game and you're going to need a healer soon if you don't already. after he's at rank 6, i'd suggest ranking up spider.

I agree on this, i didnt replace FB until i got draco.
But- apoth, i still use in tag arena and most dungeons...
The thing with FB and apothecary is they are both easy to book as well.
