Have clan boss drops changed?

Just a quick query, i usually pick up top chests from NM and UNM daily and until a couple of weeks ago i was getting good rewards, books, shards etc

The last 2 weeks however i have had 1 epic book and 2 blue shards in total...that is it, just constant useless immortal/cruel gear and pots/brews

Has anyone else noticed a change? or am i just having a run of bad rng?

Cheers.

If anything, my last few weeks have been extra kind to me. Last week I got 4 legendary books in a row from NM, today I got another, and there was a sacred shard a week or two back as well. Sure, there's a lot of brews and 4-5* cruel/immortal gear as well, but can't expect it to be all gold.

Strange, 2 weeks ago i got 2 sacreds in one day (cant remember for sure but i think it was one each from both UNM chests)

Now i just keep getting junk, and its gotten to the point of frustration.

I guess its just me though, thanks.

The  RNG  for  CB  chests  is  brutal.  People  in  my  clan  get  sacreds  every  other  day.  I  go  months  without  seeing  one.

Nope, just RNG... I got a sacred and a void shard today.

I should confirm that the drop rate on CB hasn't been tweaked any time recently

Thanks Oracle, you are very proactive.

I have not been able to demonstrate to myself that ANY of Plarium's "odds" ever work out as expected. I think it is all a bunch of hogwash. The ones that get good stuff wonder why, cuz it is not RNG, and the ones that do not get good stuff wonder where is the RNG when I needed it? Evidently the common Mantra here is that "odds" are not real odds since it is all RNG, haha. Whatever you try to demonstrate for yourself, either good or bad, is fruitless cuz you will never have enough "sample size", so when it comes to odds, just forget about them.

We have no way to know whether anything is working right; potions, artifacts, champs, you name it, It is all just a crap shoot. At least the casinos have some oversight over them that whatever odds they publish are in the right ballpark but nothing like that here. Fat "chance" of ever seeing that in Aristocrat's Quarterly/Annual Report.

Actually, a RNG does use "real" odds and probability to figure out the outcome of a roll.  However, the odds never change unless there is a mercy calculation (see shard pulls).

If the odds are 1:1000 (just an example) it doesn't mean every 1000 turns you WILL win, it means each time you play the odds are 1:1000 against you and that calculation doesn't change.  It is actully possible (although not probable) that you could make 10,000 pulls and still not have success.

bottomline they are not dependable to get any specific outcome hoped for: possible, probable, maybe, who knows, etc

A useless parameter, IMO.  Just like "luck."

Luck and odds do not have a direct correlation.  With 1:1000 odds, If you pull three in 1000 then you were very lucky.  The problem is most people really don't have a great understanding of odds so their perception is colored with their personal views.

It's very common; especially in Vegas...
