Nothing particularly noteworthy in S4 or G1 from what I can tell, though I seem to be getting some of these supposed "bot" teams that people are talking about that I've never seen until now, as well as some pages with 2-4 of them and nothing else (i.e. not 10 teams). Other than that, I'm not doing any better or worse than I was before. They also did something to defense, because for me it comes in waves. Yesterday there was a period of 18 hours in which I had 2 people try to attack me and this was against a single Seeker defense team.

Currently sitting in the middle of G1, which is not really where I'd want to be in terms of matchmaking (I prefer having an easier time spending my tokens so I don't have to waste more time than necessary), but the weird teams I sometimes get and whatever is going on with defense is both keeping me there and letting me get some wins without being glued to the computer, so it's not the end of the world right now.

I was in G1 before Arena change, then got beaten down to B3. After Arena 'fix', I was able to move back to S3 and then can't progress again. Currently stucking with 'Reach G1' mission.

In the last few days something is happening to make Arena easier, see other topic 'arena has EZ stuff now '. I like the new change as it allows us to get some medals although I'm still not able to reach G1 yet.

i've been hearing that the state of arena in bronze and silver has improved significantly. of course as players progress through bronze and silver to move up to gold, the situation in gold will improve as well.

how has everyone's progress been over the past few days?

Big change for me. Have gone from bronze 2 or 3 to Gold 2  - geting 'normal' looking lineups then a sudden burst of two or three screens full of really easy teams that should be nowhere near silver let alone gold.  Something doesn't seem right in the way these easy batches are appearing - I'm torn as I was stuck before but this is the other extreme.

My clan is reporting bots as high as G2, nothing different in G4. 

Used to continually bounce between S4 and G1.

Now in the middle of G3.

Not seeing many bots at all in G3, but i am farming weaker teams that benefitted from the bots to rise tiers. Just as stronger teams are farming me.

Main benefit for me is it has got me away from the awful power based matchmaking

In my experience the change is BIG.

I started playing in december, and with a F2P Fast team i was able to reach G1 by february...

After a couple of months without playing, i returned the first days of may, and i was in B1...

When i tried Arena again... that was simply an impossible task, all matchups where really hard, full legends 60 with arbiter... or other top tier champions. I manage to speed up my team to 250+ speed (for B1 arena team should be more than enought...), but just be able to win 1 or 2 battles in a row. Slowly, i reached B4.

Last week of may however, bots start appear... and suddenly in a couple of days I jump from B4 to G2 (almost G3, just a couple of wins left). I have made some changes and upgrades to my team, but bots matchups make the difference.

Besides, here in G2-G3, im finding more winnable matchups than in B1 - B2.

I dont know if this idea with bots is the better solution to Arenas, but at least it allows early players to grow there and get the medals to can advance in GH and complete the arena progession missions´s.

I see difference, lot of 'low defence accounts' pop up frequently, sent be from s2 to g2 in days, even in g2 have pages of 'low defence accounts'  so can farm medals without frustration ( still need 1500 gold ones for mission)

All over the place, but with the free tokens we got and a few refreshes I was finally able to reach gold4 again for the progress mission.

Home free now?

I approve of the current arena setup now, it makes the experience of having to run arena no longer miserable.

I think that the bot teams are somewhat too easy, but better than endless page after page of arbiters

There are some in G4 as well now - yesterday I had another refresh with just 1 (ludicrously weak) opponent, like we often got back then but not for a while now.
