Ice Golem interaction with Warmaster / Giantslayer bugged?

I'd been noticing this a few times, where IG will not do five revives as it is supposed to.

I know that counter-attack skips it - I think this might be intentional.

But I believe that there is also a bug with WM/GS. I believe that if WM/GS drops IG's hp below one of the thresholds, it won't trigger the ability.

I run Alure, and so IG never gets to attack - so it's not from poison or anything else.

It's more that I expect they'd eventually find this themselves if it were indeed bugged, and I'd prefer to be ahead of the game rather than playing catchup later.

If  there  is  a  Poison  or  HP  Burn  on  the  Boss  and  it  takes  damage  from  that  and  passes  beyond  the  amount,  it  will  not  Revive.  Also,  if  a  skill  hits  hard  enough  that  it  passes  beyond  multiple  marks,  it  will  only  Revive  once.

Since I'm using Alure, the former ones aren't applicable - the boss never gets to attack, so the poison and HP burn never tick.

As for the latter - not the case, since it's just not using the revive at all. IE, the hp steadily drops from 100% to 60% for example, at which point it triggers. HP did not go from, say, 85% to 60% in one attack.

Of course they are dead. If they weren't dead, why would I be asking why it's not reviving them?

Lmao. But I think you are right about the wm/gs procs probably being the case. I never noticed it before but it makes sense as they are treated differently in other ways too. Like I think if you kill the minion with armiger the block revive doesn't work if wm does the kill. Been a while since I had to use armiger on IG.

Okay,  that  was  a  joke.  I  do  believe  the  bug  at  this  point,  as  there  is  few  other  reasons.  Unless  you  have  Block  Revive  on  your  team  as  Trips  said?

Video isn't possible unfortunately.

As best as I can tell, the scenario is simply that Warmaster/Giantslayer procs and takes IG below one of its thresholds. As an example, if IG were at 82%, Warmaster procs and takes off 4% MAX HP and drops him below 80%. Normally this should cause him to trigger his revive and AOE attack, but because it's not the primary attack that did the damage, it skips the trigger.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to be sure about what causes this issue without having a video record. 

Unless you use some Poison or HP Burn effect, Ice Golem should activate his Frigid Vengeance every time his health drops below one of the thresholds, regardless of the type of damage.

Please, let me know if this issue persists after one or two next patches

I can confirm that counter-attack now properly triggers Frigid Vengeance if IG drops below a threshold. Not sure about WM/GS, but I'd have to assume that bug is one and the same, and was therefore also fixed. Will let you know if I notice it again.
