Maneater A1?

So, how do we interpret a debuff ability like Maneater's Pummel that doesn't say how long the debuff lasts for?  And, if it *doesnt* have a listed duration, how do masteries like Master Hexer work, which has a chance to extend it?

Thanks!

It  lasts  for  1  turn  and  Master  Hexer  will  still  work.

Im actually deciding between Maneater and Coffin Smasher for a Decrease ATK debuff on CB.  I feel like ME s more popular because of the unkillable builds, but it seems like Coffin Smasher is better debuffer because the uptime can easily be 100% where ME's debuff only lasts one round?

Actually ... now that Ive done the math .... CS can only max have a 65% chance or so of landing that DEC ATK debuff .... seems like ME is the choice ....

No,  Coffin  Smasher  is  the  choice.  He's  Rare,  so  he  is  easier  to  book,  and  Maneater  does  not  do  his  A1  all  the  time,  so  you  could  die  if  he  does  his  A2  and  the  Decrease  Attack  drops  off.

Got it - my ME is actually fully booked, though.  I also like the CS HP burn he brings (right now I have Juliana in my CB team and she is cranking out great damage with it).  It doesnt bother you that the CS A1 only has an effective 65% chance of the debuff landing (1 - 0.7*0.7*0.7)?

65% chance for each of his A1 3 hits are pretty good odds to land dec atk. Our clan has a few using him specifically for this important debuff.

No, each those 3 A1 hits has a 30% chance of placing the debuff, which translates to 65% for at least one of them to hit.
