Ice golem

So I've encountered something that is very annoying and I don't know if it's a mechanic that is meant to be there or not.

I'm running a poison/hp burn team on ice golem that works well, for the most part. The only discrepancy is that my champs start attacking the golem once his hp drops below 30-ish %, even if there are adds up. This is very annoying when the fight takes about 5 minutes for me (lvl 20) and then my champ pushes the boss over the 20% barrier, with both adds up, and he pretty much wipes me right there.

This ends up being just luck that my poisons push him over that limit in time, and at lvl 20 it really shouldn't be about luck.

I just needed to vent that out.

hp burn is not really good for dungeon bosses but Spider den.

I was lucky because I got Rotos who best fight against Ice Golem guards, he both reduce max hp + block revive.

Since you do not have Rotos, try make 1 by using 2 champs: 1 with Destroy set & 1 can block revive. If you successfully block revive both golem guards, you would win for sure.

HP  Burn  is  for  not  triggering  the  Ice  Golem  Passive  while  doing  damage.

I was under the impression that the ice golem spawns new golem guards and the block revive will not work on new spawns

No, the ice golem explicitely says that it revives dead allies rather than spawning minions, so block revive is still effective.
