Can't beat Spider's Den Stage 9 with five 6* Champs

Hi guys,

Although I am not F2P and spend quite some money on RAID lately I can not manage to get good teams together - especially with Spider's Den. My team is as follows:

Vergis, Bellower, Apothecary, Coldheart, Coldheart.

How should I build my team to get more efficient on the spider?

Thanks in advance!

Nes

Hello, I suggest that as you watch the battle, note any champ that gets taken out earlier than the rest, and replace that one with another.  Pay attention to the in-game ratings for each champ.  I can see that Vergis and Apothecary are not well rated for Spider. Coldheart is good but she needs protection.  Skills are more important than power many times.  If you have masteries, there are better arrangements to deal with Spider, check the u-tube videos on masteries for your champ.

As usual with this game, check and adjust as necessary.

You'd get better help if you post your champion roster here. :)

I see Psylar. You are totally sleeping on Psylar for Spider.

You'll need to do major gear changes on your champions... most importantly Coldheart, she's supposed to do two main things: firstly, deplete turn meter with Heartseeker and secondly, deal massive damage in the process (although on stage 9, that damage won't be so big - it scales off enemy max HP, which means you only really get the big numbers in the final stages).

But that means she needs enough accuracy, enough crit rate and as much crit damage as possible. Neither of your two CHs has anywhere near enough accuracy, which should be above 100 now and above 200 by the time you reach stage 20, nor crit rate, which should be 70 percent (Heartseeker adds 30 percent, so with 70 percent you are sure that Heartseeker will always be a critical hit). You gave one of them a stun set - put that on Bellower instead! All of his attacks are AOE, so he can be stunning spiderlings on every single turn he takes. Most of CHs hits will not be AOEs and it's not like you can stun the big spider when hitting her with Heartseeker.

Also, all of your champions are too slow, you need to prioritize speed stats, especially by giving all important champions boots with speed as main stat (if possible).

Edit: Also, you need to ascend your champions - at 3 star ascension, you unlock an extra ability or improvement of existing ability, then at 5 and 6 star, you gain the slot for amulets and banners respectively. All of those can make a big difference.

Good tips.

I am through L10 of Spider, and I have about 93k of Spider power, using L60: Kael, Elhain; L50: Zargala, Battlesage, Coldheart.  They are all fully ascended and equipped with some accessories from what I can gather up.  I probably need to go higher with Spider but I get fed up cuz they keep giving me the same faction accessories over and over.  Those picks were based on in-game user reviews of the champs I have, and I track them by spreadsheet.  AOE attackers are great.

I prefer the other dungeons that yield artifacts.

Last, but not least, one should try different Aura to see what works best for leader. I am using Battlesage for her speed aura (19% all battles).

With this team I managed to break through the spiderlings way better thanks to you guys! Although my Bellower is still very slow and some more fixes need to be done at least I'm having some more efficiency here. :-)

I just gotta add that you can also try using Madame Serris. Coldheart's Heartseeker deals a lot more damage when the target has Decrease Defense. Good luck!

I am looking at the roster and my first thought is the champs are not ascended fully yet, artifacts not at lvl 16, have you maxed out using books and materials?

I am looking at the roster and my first thought is why is your Skullcrown not level 60.

You are totally sleeping on Skullcrown for Spider + Everywhere Esle.

Skullcrown is a Diva with a Beat.

Skullcrown will knock Spiderlings & Rival Enemies right off their Feet.

Skullcrown hits so bloody hard.

Furthermore, Skullcrown is the strongest damage dealer you own.

All the champions in your roster - Skullcrown is strongest nuker of them all in my opinion.

At least for now, you might pull someone better down the road.

You never know what heroes you will pull in the future.

If I was you, I would move Skullcrown to the top of your 6 staring list.
