Yes that is about right. 30 times is not that much (especially on auto).

Drop rates are 66%, 12%, 7% for the 3 potions x 30 = 19, 3.6, 2.1 drops for level 13.

Drop yields are 1.6, 0.3, 0.1 x 30 = 48, 9, 3 for level 13 << this is what matters I guess

For me, if I am energy limited, I grind at max level for each potion keep.

My issue is I keep getting superiors when I desperately need greaters.

I'd absolutely love a way to breakdown higher tier potions into lower tier even if the conversion isn't as good as going the other way. If I could get even 3-5 greaters for a superior I'd be a happy camper.

Restrict Play at Level 11-12: best chance of greater (if it is for a mission?)

If not mission, then going to max Level and using huge number of minor potions is also ok

Thanks for this Ethan!

I'm going to need to start saving greater potions for the stupid missions.  Going to need 100 greater of each. Ugh.  Other than Spider (obviously), these will biggest pain in the ass.

Right now im at the mission to get five force superior potions. I dont know how many runs i have done till now and i started with some lesser potions (25 i think) in my possesion and nothing else. My total numbers now are

296 lesser

46 greater

0 superior

All runs at max stage 15

LoL

Mission for 5 greater pots:

40 Runs on Force15:

190 small pots

5 greater pots (run 25 2x, 33 2x and 40 the last one)

0 superior pots

quite…… underwhelming? Also …. it's About time that the xp-brews and shards are set as "additional" drop to whichever pot is dropping and not as a pot replacement *sigh*

If the drop rate was better or we always get potions every time, then people who buy energy would definitely have the upper hand against those who don't.

EDIT:  My general feeling is that F2P games should be "pay to accomplish your goals more quickly", not "pay to win".  Especially in F2P PVP game.  If such a game becomes unmistakably pay-to-win, then allowing people to play for free is just a joke.

EDIT #2:  Take Neverwinter for example.  IMO, it still has the best action-combat of any MMORPG I've played.  Black Desert comes close, but Neverwinter's combat feels more natural and intuitive to me.  Anyway, the PVP in that game could have been really cool.  Especially if they had designed a PVP Campaign Module with a storyline.  Even made it good characters against evil characters or at least had opposing factions for PVP.  Or both.  (Would have been even better if they had different leveling paths for good and evil characters or factions like Everquest 2 did, but nevermind that for now.)

Anyway, they never did those things I've mentioned.  And eventually it become obvious to almost everyone but noobs that the PVP was totally P2W ("pay-to-win").  Unless perhaps you were a no-lifer who played 18 hours a day or had played since the game was released.  People talked about how the PVP was pay-to-win in chat all the time.  Free players mostly refused to participate.  Especially at max level.  And even in low level PVP, you would have twinked toons wrecking everybody.  So, in a game where the PVP could have been really cool and enjoyable, it become a game where PVP was generally avoided by most free players.  And even those who had least paid a little here and there.

(** They could have even made it so that PVP had Gear Score categories, where you only fought against people who were in the same Gear Score range.  Would have made it much more competitive and fun.  But they refused to do that as well.**)

Right now (not totally sure), but I think Neverwinter may be bleeding players.  Because they have a Recruitment event where they're giving free stuff to anyone who makes and levels a new character.  And they were giving free stuff away to anyone who logged in for a few days.  I decided to check it out a couple of days ago myself, just to see what it was about.  But, man, after playing this game the graphics looked totally out-dated.  It was kinda funny.  Pretty similar to how Neverwinter looked so much better Everquest 2.
