Was wondering about unlocking slot cost ? i see th 7th or 50 gm what about the rest ? and i know it is probably not a good idea but for the first time since i started playing i see ancient shard in locked section !
You should open them. If I'm not mistaken, 3 slots on the left will require gems, while the other 3 will be opened with silver. As far as I remember, the cost will stay fixed.

and yes playing for nearly months now and i was able to get 3-5 ancient shards . but in this month i get less and noticed for first time they are in locked area
wondering if this will become future policy to force players open the market

Hi guys,
the cost is 50 gemms, silvers, 80 and after silvers and the last is about 120 gems and then again silvers cost.
Once time you unlock is better for you because from the market can get out the ancient shard for about 200k silvers.
How do you do it? I can't see where to unlock...

Until you see an ancient shard down on the bottom. I pick up every green shard I can buy too. Never know when you have to open 700 of them to complete a fusion.
I did the gem mine first but I think the market has been worth unlocking. The shards are great, early on it'll help book out key uncommons like Shieldguard, Armiger, Outlaw Monk and Zephyr Sniper. Once in a while a useful piece of gear pops up, too.
Another vote for unlocking the marketplace. There isn't always great stuff in there, but when there is then it's worth it. Not just for shards (both green and blue), but also champions and rare gear if they roll decent stats. I've picked up quite a few 4 and 5 star speed boots on my second account from the marketplace as it was leveling up in the early stages

The ancient shards aren't random, though; I think you can only buy five of them a month. I haven't attempted any kind of statistical analysis, but I don't think the shards count against that limit unless they're actually bought. For a person like myself, for whom the game has become the background noise to his entire life, I don't think the odds of getting five is appreciably higher with all the market slots unlocked (in other words, I'm probably getting ten or so shop refreshes a day just from having the app running all the time while I'm at work, commuting, cleaning my house, watching TV, making sure my two toddlers don't destroy everything of value, etc.). On the other hand, the necessary gem investment isn't THAT high, taking a long-term view of things.
