As a day two player, can I abuse having two Deacon Armstrongs?

I played this game ages ago but had invested all my starting mats into Eviscerator and then she got nerfed, so I changed games.

I think I have the basics under control still... I'm pretty versed in gachas (this, when I quit, was my third big play/spend game, and now it's my third and fifth :D )

My question is--short term, as a new, two-day-old account (aiming to play this game long term) is it worth building two deacons? I imagine I'll take one to 40 to carry, the other to 60, and then will re-analyze the strategy based on y'all's advice. Or should I just 40 the second to progress and then feed him to my other when it doesn't make sense to have two?

the answer to both your questions is no. it's unlikely you'll find a need to build a second deacon (unless you end up running a clan boss setup that requires him and don't want to alter the one you use for the other areas of the game), but you'll get much more value out of keeping the second one as a faction guardian than you will from feeding him. you will also probably want to leave him at level 1; there's no benefit to bringing him up to 40 and it would cost you resources that would be of more use elsewhere.

Just build a single Deacon, and before even that, get your starter champ to 60 to work as a Campaign Farmer. Then you can more quickly level your Wukong and other champs that come after.
