It's a guaranteed lego event. The number of shards to get it is higher than a normal one, but in exchange there are quite a few more rewards to get.

I won't be getting the lego becuase I have a better chance of winning the lottery. Meaning with the lottery I have a chance, but I wasn't expecting to get a lego in this event so no harm - no foul. 

Thankfully as with all things in game your free to participate in or skip whatever you want.  Nothing is mandatory.  Play the game however you wish to get the most enjoyment from it. 

Hero's Path events always have very high resource requirements to finish, and can be thought of as effectively targeted at end-game players.

From my calculations it is about 50 sacred shards to get a guaranteed legendary champion...a very mediocre one as well.

Aehm...as SoS already wrote....this is a series of events which I will definitely just skip and ignore.

in UDK u need 1,5k total bday pts to reach end of last milestones,

 but to get those x50 bday pts per x50 bday pts,

 u must do hard farm to make high pts for sum low x50bday pts,

  it's just so shameless how unreal is it... 

at least in hero path u can gain sum good rewards while UDK titan is black hole...

Every player can get SOMETHING from it. Thinking about it as anything but bonus resources for doing what you're already doing is what gets you in trouble.

These events are bonus resources that, if you want to and have enough account savings, that you can go for legendary champs and big Soulstone and books.

I don't like him either. But mainly because Plarium isn't being nice to me. 25 yellows with no lego :( and all I want is a copy of one of the 10x champs for my vault, and Roxam as a reward for my vault too :(

As far as OP:

Optional events are optional. I skip FAR more events than I do, yet can complete every single thing in the game, and have made Plat. No, I don't spend.

Since you're quitting over the hero path though, I hope you find a new game you like.

i think we need to open another section for "i dont like this game" posts. 

like....

that way every depressed member can pull the tissues and complain, Plarium will delegate the answers to a professional psychiatrist to help everyone to overcome their own frustrations on the pixels.

The section can have the following sub-sections:

1- I am leaving, so i will anouce my departure in airport style here

2- I hate this game and broccoli, also hate plarium and meatloaf 

3- I hate this part of the game (insert some event here) and youtube adds 

4- i got my ass kiked in arena, so i hate the world and i will start a cult 

5- There arent any new promo codes so i will set fire to my country 

6- this champion i faced is overpowered and i will refuse to take another shower ever

7- i opened 5 sacred shards and no leggo, so i will deslike every cat picture i found on social media

8- "Why, plarium, Why?"  and write a phd thesis complaining about how some colored pixels dont let you sleep in anger....
