Help with Spider

Hey all, I'm a F2P player who has been playing Raid for about 6 months (just got Scyl for the 180 days this week) and I would say am in a solid Mid Game state. I was able to get through a good amount of the dungeons up to around lvl 19-20 (reliably but not speedily) but have a lot of trouble on Spider (specifically on auto). I know the general comp that you want going into it is an Hp Burner (I have Mordecai or Artak, though neither of them are booked), a turn meter controller (I use armiger with 200 speed and acc), a speed booster/healer (apothecary with 250 speed), and a controller for the spiderlings (currently a combo between Scyl and Skeuramis who I know is not ideal but I dont have any champions with reliable aoe stuns or freezes that I know about. Here is my list:

Can anyone weigh in with some advice on getting through Spider? I currently cannot consistently beat Spider 15 on auto. I have most of my team built with >200 spd and accuracy.

How's your gear? Is it out of reach to just build a solo spider farmer with Artak? Check this page - https://hellhades.com/artak-solo-build-solo-dungeon-running/

If it is out of reach, it should be easy enough to do with some support champs to back him up. Apoth, Scyl, Khatun, and Giscard, for example.

Yeahh unfortunately not as good as that. A big weakness of my gear is that I don't have a lot of accessories to choose from, namely hardly any accuracy banners. I would say the majority of my gear is 4-5 star with some 6 star pieces mingled in. My idea was to try to farm spider for a while to round out the accessories on my champs and then go back to Dragon and Fire Knight to get the gear up to 5-6 star range but maybe I need to try to do it the other way around.

I would say for now, give Artak + Scyl + Harvest Jack + Brogni + Apoth a try. You have two AoE CC'ers, and a lot of healing and support. Hopefully enough to keep everyone alive.

Thanks! I wasn't quite able to do it that way since Jack wasn't booked either, (I have him built as an HP shielder) but I experimented a bit and replaced him with Armiger and now am able to do Spider 15 pretty consistenly (although takes ~4 mins per run still). Scyl tanks all the damage and apothecary and Brogni can keep him alive for the most part until close to the end. For now I just needed to be able to do it for the mission so i'll circle back to this when I can start upgrading Artak. Appreciate your input!

Thanks, yeah I've gotten pretty lucky with saving up shards and pulling them during the extra legendary or higher chance events. I think my main issue is not being able to max them all out with better gear and books :')

i think the main issue you face is probably consistent burns because they are not booked, it really does make a big difference especially if u want to run it on auto, maybe try high khatun as lead role to see if it picks up the slack of lack of books, not sure how much it effects ur survivability though.

I was able to get through a good amount of the dungeons up to around lvl 19-20 (reliably but not speedily) but have a lot of trouble on Spider (specifically on auto). I know the general comp that you want going into it is an Hp Burner (I have Mordecai or Artak, though neither of them are booked), a turn meter controller (I use armiger with 200 speed and acc), a speed booster/healer (apothecary with 250 speed), and a controller for the spiderlings (currently a combo between Scyl and Skeuramis who I know is not ideal but I dont have any champions with reliable aoe stuns or freezes that I know about. A big weakness of my gear is that I don't have a lot of accessories to choose from, namely hardly any accuracy banners. I would say the majority of my gear is 4-5 star with some 6 star pieces mingled in. I wasn't quite able to do it that way since Jack wasn't booked either, (I have him built as an HP shielder) but I experimented a bit and replaced him with Armiger and now am able to do Spider 15 pretty consistenly (although takes ~4 mins per run still). Scyl tanks all the damage and apothecary and Brogni can keep him alive for the most part until close to the end. For now I just needed to be able to do it for the mission so i'll circle back to this when I can start upgrading Artak. I was able to get through a good amount of the dungeons up to around lvl 19-20 (reliably but not speedily) but have a lot of trouble on Spider (specifically on auto). I know the general comp that you want going into it is an Hp Burner (I have Mordecai or Artak, though neither of them are booked), a turn meter controller (I use armiger with 200 speed and acc), a speed booster/healer (apothecary with 250 speed), and a controller for the spiderlings (currently a combo between Scyl and Skeuramis who I know is not ideal but I dont have any champions with reliable aoe stuns or freezes that I know about. A big weakness of my gear is that I don't have a lot of accessories to choose from, namely hardly any accuracy banners. I would say the majority of my gear is 4-5 star with some 6 star pieces mingled in. I wasn't quite able to do it that way since Jack wasn't booked either, (I have him built as an HP shielder) but I experimented a bit and replaced him with Armiger and now am able to do Spider 15 pretty consistenly (although takes ~4 mins per run still). Scyl tanks all the damage and apothecary and Brogni can keep him alive for the most part until close to the end. For now I just needed to be able to do it for the mission so i'll circle back to this when I can start upgrading Artak.
