this is absolutely correct, though I think this fusion might be tougher to wait to pull than past frags :)

What happens in cases like this is, those who are in competitive clans NEED to wait for CVC, because the other clan will of course do the same thing.

Those who are in clans that dont care about CVC are more likely to be able to pull him right now without drawbacks.

Can also certainly be viable to roll Pythion's frags into a future Champ Chase, especially another fusion. 

This is such a big progression champ that it's going to be tough to hold onto for those who are on the earlier side and got him, though. 

Actually i think its more about what champ you pulled during this fusion ... if you arent getting pythion to 6-60 , ascended , masteries , etc right now , then its easier to just wait for a cvc .

I see people pulling him if they're fully ready to get him up and didnt pull anything great from this fusions(champ chase,summon rush)

Im getting Visix tonight and I got Elva , Urogrim , Allure , a 2nd geomancer , and my 1st Coldheart , which i have the 6* soul for  , from the summon rush .. you can guess im saving pythion for CvC mainly because there's no point in having him sit at lvl1 until im at least done with Elva and CH .

I agree that those in competitive clan do need to wait but others should also wait unless they litteraly have no other champs to work on atm and have all the food and such to lvl him up .. 

I'll hold onto the frags until I need them for a chase to get another fusion/frag champ.  I just pulled mithrala, Ukko, dreng, yakarl, and I have others to work on as well.
