Seriously  though I don't understand it as a strategy.  just no point to it.

I've seen a lot of... dumb strategies. 

I mean, putting Ninja, Ukko, or Arbiter alone? The best skills they have are worthless unless they're on a team, I don't see why anyone would put them alone.

That's because the player doesn't want defensive victories, as the opponents in arena get stronger or at least seem to get stronger, the more arena points you have. Farming medals vs. super strong teams is hard, so you give away your defensive fights for free.

Basically the same as a single Armiger in Stoneskin, but the polite version, that doesn't take minutes for the attacker to win.

I'm lucky if I get one defensive victory a day, and it doesn't seem like they get any easier.

For me Stoneskin need a Nerf hard because is unplayble! Because u need champs 2 remove Stone skin ! ONLY have few champs doing that and its 50/50 to remove and you can resist! U dont take any damage on Stone skin cant put debuffs! For me have 100 chance remove but you can resist Its a good resulotion ! Its a build ONLY for tanks! Imagine on the future ! U ONLY see arena full Stone! Stone vs Stone -.-! Boring fights because if you dont remove you lose! No need strategy! Imagine some champs can solo full teams with Stone skin because if you fail remove with madame serris GG! 

Bombs, buff strippers, waiting out Stone Skin teams with better tanky teams...

Does Stone Skin slow down fights often? yes.

Does this mean there is no strategy? No. 

Does it mean the only effect Stone Skin has is lowering the fun of the players? Yes.

Things that would make Raid a better game: 

1. remove Stone Skin
2. remove the "defeat team of higher team power in arena" quest (has nothing to do with stone skin, but it's, beside this set, the second dumest thing in Raid)

the reality is a lot of folks will find something to complain about with regards to the meta and my advice will always be the same as it pertains to an existing meta, whether one likes it or not:

adapt or die

I know quite a few good players who've found ways to get around it, but whether one wants to or not themselves is another story

I always just bring my bomb team to every single defense team.

Solves any issues right off the bat.

I know for tag, many just leave their normal leads until the weekend.  And then put rest of defense back in friday/saturday.  I do this, though none currently have stoneskin, because there are no presets for defense and its one less thing i need to remeber.

But to complain that people arent setting weak enough defenses... lmao

I DEMAND you make my free farming slightly easier, Plarium, since the other players are mean to me!

Personally, i dont make a point of  a single stoneskin champ as defence, its just i delete most of my team and as all my base team tend to be in stoneskin the one i have left is in stoneskin.

If you see a single UDK and suspect its stoneskin just use a bomb champ?

I thought you couldnt remove stoneskin...i have shemnath, seer, pinthroy..a good amount of champs to remove buffs but never did. So now i see its just an accuracy problem

In addition to the accuracy vs. res, there is a 50% chance that stoneskin gets not removed. In the end, Plarium is run by a casino company, so making the game a gambling opportunity is not surprising.
