I don't do a lot of tta but if a fight goes to 5 min I just skip and move on.

i only fight up to 5 mins or so as well, i am too impatient for longer fights.

On the topic of tag, i dropped to S4 when i was previously in green and G1. I thought it would be easy to climb back up but at 1400 points (just in green) i have a screen full of plat avatars and whales..

Anyone else finding it hard to climb back up?

The trick I learned from one of the CCs is to  set 1 man defenses right after reset. This will push you in red very quickly, but you will also be able to farm other people's easy defenses for the next 4-5 days. Then set up your real defense on Friday or Saturday and climb back up.

Yes, I noticed it's a lot harder this week, after a whole bunch of people from higher tiers dropped down. I usually don't have much problems climbing into G4, and I'm currently well into green, but this time it's very uncertain. The points just keep piling up, and I drop down even when I am not attacked. 

I was  out of the loop for what happened  in TTA last week, but did notice I went from Silver 2 to Bronze 4

So currently securing my position to move back up into Silver 1 - come Mon

Its a struggle but tink I am solid :) 

Not to mention my next MISSION Quest is to reach TTA Silver 2. So guess that will take a couple weeks to complete

Dropping back into G2 when in the green has made this week very tough. Although I'm sure it's fluctuating, the "remain in G2" cutoff line seems to be about1090 right now.

Green is still a ways away, so I don't know where that line is yet.

Harder each week, as it's a mission to get to G1 there is a 'roadblock'  - there are 7000 spaces in G1, each week more players reach that mission, probably more reach it than move into G1 each week, there are 15000 spaces in S4, these spaces are getting filled by strong teams trying to get to G1, as S4 fills with these teams S3 will get harder as strong teams try to get to S4, so yes it's tough and because of the TAG promotion, weekly and arbitary unlike classic getting into G1 will get harder each passing week.

Another problem is that when you're in a tier its a lot easier to stay there than it is to progress - or get demoted hence little weekly movement

TAG promotion needs looking at by Plarium, but I doubt it will be

I often run two go-second teams on offense, so 30 minute fights are not uncommon for me, unfortunately. Especially when one of the teams is often "rotos + three revivers", where the game is to just keep reviving until Rotos finally manages to steal enough HP to block revive :)

The Rotos team sounds painful lol. I sure hope you're running your fights on auto :P

This week definitely seemed tougher in tag. Tag tournament + free tag bags + players who should've been promoted or stayed where they were, depending on the circumstances = heavy, heavy grind. 

Not on auto :/ would never work.

I do the same, and I know the pain. :) Still, 30 min of manualing is a bit much, though.

Respect, though. Good to find edges where you can in tag and try to snag the 3-0s.

To be clear, that one fight isn't 30 minutes - the combination of the three is. But yeah. Definitely a slog :)

Its painful.  But you only have to really do tag 2 days a week for 5 battles.  The first 5 days are farm, set real defense and get into yellow  :)

With the tag glitch my full defense was hit a staggering amount of time with everyone falling back into G2.

No G4 this CvC is sad times, that bug hit me harder than any whale ever could.
