Did you pull any Epic or Legendary heroes?

Most people level there starter to 60 because they were unlucky in pulling any good Epics or Legendaries.

If you have better options vs. (Rare) Starter , you could go with the better options.

The most important thing is to Farm Brutal.

You often are looking for a hero with “Attack All Enemies” or “Kill one enemy get extra turn”.

So take a careful look thru your heroes.

If you get confused or are unsure, you can always ask here.

People can tell you if the heroes you have can Farm brutal or not.

Going for Attack all or CounterAttack sounds like sound advice. My thoughts too.

I have no legendary and quite a way yet to the few Sacred Shards I can earn. 

My only viable epics are Jihzo 50 ( good w massive HP and CounterAttack - but I don’t have the gear for him to sustain the damage.

Kael 50 does damage enough to get farther, in campaign (can farm Hard lvl 10.3), but not Brutal.

Hm... I’ll think it over.

get lifesteal gear for kael and some masteries to boost him a bit (I went with offense + support trees: HP after first kill in wave, dmg output ...)

my lv50 kael was able to farm brutal 5.X or 6.X (currently lv 60, forgot what stage i was farming back then and if it was solo with 3 foods or 2x lv50 + 2 food) 

2x offense + cruel sets, maxed skills (pulled 3x kael from ancient / mystery shards and topped off with tomes in about 6 weeks from starting)

right now my executioner lv50 with maxed skills (all skillups from farming duplicates, 3 in normal, few in hard, rest in brutal), tier4 masteries and lifesteal + immortal sets can solo brutal 12.6 (takes about 2m30s-3m and there is small potential of defeat on last wave, but I see no reason to get him to 60 right now)
