As far as I know (and I'm a developer myself, though I've never developed games, just business applications)  this only goes for client part of the application (that we download from the stores).  Don't think that Google and Apple know anything about game servers and server updates. 

If so, I apologize for thinking badly of the developer

Warchief passive skill was nuff ??? Really???

I couldn't help but notice that Warchief's skill descriptions had changed briefly today. 

A1 Brutal Force: Freeze debuff was replaced with provoke debuff.

Passive Standstill: Places 30% reflect damage on this champion. 10% defense increase for each dead ally.


Is this the intended buff for Warchief? I'm hoping it's an error because this would do absolutely nothing to make him a useful legendary... He still has no aoe ability... He still has no buff or group support ability... reflect damage on a high defense champion does not make sense since all his incoming damage will be reduced by his own defense, and therefore so would the reflected damage... his defense increasing for each dead ally defeats the purpose of his skills, which are meant to prevent his allies from taking damage in the first place. If his allies are dead he's already failed at tanking, and he will generally die due to the fact that he is non-team oriented defense champion with no self sustain... even lifesteal is useless on him because he has no aoe ability to make it heal a lot, or self defensive buff to allow the heals to actually build.


This is all just thoughts brought from my own experience in the game, and I'm curious if other people feel the same

Could this also be why Septimus's primary attack does not always grant an extra turn when killing an enemy now?  Seems to have started about the same time.

Aye! There is a fairly sizable round of buffs coming in 1.7. There will be more in the future, of course.
That's encouraging news - hopefully that includes legendaries. Right now there are only a handful of legendaries that are better than epics, which makes the already small chance of pulling a legendary champ even smaller to pull a good one. Three out of four of my legendaries are extremely underwhelming and not being used right now (War Mother - bombs are lackluster, Lugan - Vrask heals way more and heals himself as well, Mortu-Macaab - the split between HP and Attack scaling means he hardly does any damage).

It isn't working because of giant slayer. Giant slayer "steals the kill"

Legendary Heroes Lord Chapford, the trick shows that the shield is directly proportional to the hero's maximum health. But the fact that the shield is only a fraction of the health! In addition, he is a life hero. The skill is based on the attack power. The other output and survivability are lower than the 4 star hero! There is no team benefit skill! Is this a reasonable legendary hero?

Last night I've downloaded and installed 1.7.0 from Play Market. It is saying that the game version is 1.7.0.

But some of my clan mates, who also have android, are saying that the update is not avaliable.  I am a bit confused.

Looks like they make an update available gradually.  I just checked the play market and have seen the moment my "open" button changed into "download".

Thanks for the explanation!  Seems kinda crappy to farm that long for a new, top-end ability only to see him become less useful overall, but guess I should not be surprised in  a newer game.  Prefer they would fix this, rather than making us do daily level upgrades ONLY in the tavern.  Oh well.


Of course, the first thing I would like them to fix is level specific quests and goals.  Having to go back to farm items in normal, rather than letting me get credit for farming it in brutal is silly.
