Infirmary should work with resources too

why the Infirmary doesnt work with resources to heal dead units ,there must be an amount of resources near the cost of build them back to heal the units so that  Infirmary takes resources and time ,also the time must be less than the time needed to build them back ,but if you want to heal them Instantly you should use your rubies

Matey, that's a good suggestion! Yet, I highly doubt that a bottle of rum would resurrect a mighty pirate, arrghh. Do ye?

I like the idea maybe a reduced build cost below the veteren cost minus the rubies if we're willing to wait it out. Increase the build time a bit. I'm sure its possible to control the logistics of it. Like you can only bring back units you can build. There of course would have to be draw backs to not using rubies but the option to use resources instead would be nice.

there is no draw back for using rubies ,people who want to stay at the top of other BHs will use rubies and will not wait

I hope I am not hijacking this post..  my questions pertain to Infirmary and Sawbones..

I was G staff in the US Army Alaska.. We had a Commanding General. who gave a speech prior to the beginning of our annual war games..

We were in 50 Below zero weather with a wind chill of 100 Below.. brrrrr...2 Airborne Units Jumped in that weather no frost bite..

He said.  if any of my Soldiers show up for Sick Call..    he said hand them a shot of whiskey ..let them sit there for awhile and come back and ask them how they feel..    if they still feel bad.. he said. .give them another shot of whiskey and let them sit awhile and come back and ask again.. he said if they still feel sick.. give them the whole bottle.. so maybe rum can heal you.. lol

Now that I tried to be humorous.

While on the subject of Infirmary..

I  also agree, you should be able to heal  with gold/lumber/rum no rubies also maybe a little longer time to heal

Why do I go into a battle and lose say  1500 pirates and 1500 Ships.   then I go to infirmary and sure enough they are all listed in the right column but none are listed on the 35% free restore?

Why does it not provide the 35%?

Why does it when you go to any of the Sawbones.. does it now show what they are healing..  such as a Marauder.. or a Bonnies Beauties?

you have no idea who is being healed and who is not..  but  near the top of the page.. it says in so many hours you will lose some of your pirates..

I would like to see.. the Saw Bones. showing who they are healing and how many they have healed. for that day.

I would like to see the issue with the Infirmary..not always giving you the 35% free restore..  must be a glitch of some kind.

or am I misunderstanding that  in every battle you do not get 35% healed free?

@FTAUSERGIRL a.k.a Fletcher

35% healing is for the units that died while defending only & only your haven. It does not apply to units that died outside of your haven while attacking someone or while defending someone.

2nd Saw bones are repairing your build improvements, such as scally wags, gunner mates, red coats etc. It does not repair normal units at all.

Normally a scally wag takes 4 hour (i am not sure on this though) but with build saw bones it is reduced as mentioned in %age.

Thanks for the reply.

Then there is no advantage to going into battle, if all you do is lose and they are not healed.

it costs too much.  to replace what you lost.  even if you win the battle.  when you are at say level 51 in a battle.

Sure you might get 1000 submarines, or 1000 Brigatines, from time to time, but you are losing more than that to get them.  jmo

This game is tilted way too much towards profit and not enough having fun. for someone on a fixed income, that can not afford to whip out the credit card to keep buying rubies.    jmo/jmv

Cap'n,

War always cost resources, as you stated above that you are from Army, so were died soldiers were brought back to life? No, they were not. No matter if it was a Fighter pilot of worth Thousands of dollars or a simple recruit who worth few hundreds, they are trained from 0 all over again.

Additionally this game does not require that you keep buying rubies, you can simply raid, get resources and train troops again.

That is what most of us do :)

Fazi,

You're right about real life Soldiers not being brought back from the dead. BUT, this is a game, and if a friggin' ruby can bring you back, so can other things...ALSO, why are they "brought back from the dead" and not just injured, and then healed? Didn't think of that, 'ey?

Your objection is your answer.

Because this is game that is why you can brign them back for rubies
