Ahoy there mateys!

Do you need some advice on getting back into the game? I can help with that.

I myself experienced coming back from long inactivity. Luckily, I can give you

some very helpful tips to carry out through the game. Oh, and don't bother

following the steps in order. The numbers are irrelevant.

1. For the first seven days you will be protected in a bubble. But, if you attack

another player, they can attack you. Make sure to keep that in mind.

2. Because you haven't played the game in so long, someone will have most likely

blockaded you. All you need to do is just liberate your haven with a few offensive

pirates i.e.; Buccaneers, Marauders.

3. Click on the map and go around your neighborhood. In some cases, your

neighborhood can be deserted with a few good players or could be full of active

players. That basically depends on how long you were gone for.

4. If you aren't very strong, I would recommend doing something I like to call the

turtle. That is when you only have up to three blocks and raid inactive havens.

5. Make sure to build up everything (in moderation). You should probably upgrade

your rum distilleries first to get more rum production. Make sure to also upgrade

your other resource production and your cellars and warehouses.

6. Make sure to upgrade discoveries. In order to build more troops you need to

discover more things. Its really that simple.

7. Build up your forces. Enough said.

Once you have built up enough you should be able to get back into the game!

hope this was helpful to you!

TL:DR : Build buildings, raid bots, discover discoveries, and build units - play the game. (Thx for wasting my time, yw).
