They should really rework Surge.

He combines Zephyr and Killshot’s abilities for an ability that is honestly less useful than either of the original abilities. He has less health, less speed, is a bigger target, and has equal energy capacity to Killshot and Zephyr as well. He shoukd either get his stats buffed or get a new ability altogether, preferably a support one.

We have support abilities that: provide cover (Panther/Aegis), Heal allies (M.D.), buff self/allied damage (Brickhouse) https://100001.onl/  , and disable enemies for defense or attack (Guardian/Zephyr).

A new support ability could be to give allies an instantaneous shield similar to but weaker than the one that Juggernaut has. This would be great for making a push or helping clutch a fight or a zone capture that your team really needs. Surge’s various floating appendages could be retconned as being shield generators to generate shields for allies. Maybe even go as far and limit the number of shields he can make to 3 (self either included or not included) due to his possession of three sets of said appendages https://1921681254.mx/.

Another option could be to continue the theme of Surge combining the abilities of other mechs, and let him give two buffs/de-buffs at a time that have less potency than whatever mechs originally had those abilities. This could be a combo of anything: Hacking weapons/abilities (Guardian) and applying stasis(Panther), or Healing allies (M.D.) and buffing their damage(Brickhouse). You get the idea.
