DL8 or DL12s?

Currently half way to being able to buy the DL8s considering putting them on Shadow for mid range skirmisher but wondering about saving up for the 12s instead and perhaps putting them on Orion when it is next available at a decent price.

Get the 12s. They are useful on a lot of mechs. Also, Shadow is quite squishy and vulnerable to Discs itself. I wouldn't invest further resources in it especially since the Eclipse is becoming available. But if you have already maxed it, then running EMR8s or a single EMR16 is a better setup. You can do high damage while staying out of range of enemy DLs.

They are useful on a lot of mechs. Also, Shadow is quite squishy and vulnerable to Discs itself. I wouldn't invest further resources in it especially since the Eclipse is becoming available.
