Just got one of the new fragment champions and it appears different from advertised.
The Hamlet Gathering Champion, Gatherer was listed as increasing the Hamlet Yield, but now that I have it, it says Hamlet Gathering Speed. In this case its the same as the Headman. What gives?
The discription was changed last week as it was ment to reduce collection time to empty hamlet not to increase the total yield (as it was previously decribed ) This was the reason we were given sorry for the confusion.

But we already have a champion that does that. Why another, especially one that is so hard to get? Kind off feel cheated here.

I know how you feel I had the same reaction not really happy about the placement to activate it either as it interferes with using Prophetess and or Skyvoice I think it would be better placed in the space in vault on the right. In my opinion
They gotta have some kind of filler champs, can't have everybody running around with an orange foehammer right away haha. I am sad it doesn't increase hamlet yield though, that would have actually been interesting.

Lower grade champs? You mean like the blue and green ones? I probably wouldn't spend fragments on them, we get so few per month I'd rather save them for the purple and orange versions, but I guess they could offer it in case people are interested.

They are useful for the Tower event. Would certainly help out leagues with fewer members.
After extensive testing and calculations, I can report that the new Hamlet Gathering Champion, Gatherer, is not stackable with the old Hamlet Gathering Champion, Headman. Only the one with the higher bonus is used. Which means that in most cases the fragment Gatherer is pretty useless.

It does seem rather redundant ( I mentioned this at the time of the change of discription to them) not much else I can say

It seems to be working for me, I'm getting the sum of both bonuses. Without either champ active it takes me 13 hours 35 minutes to collect a saph hamlet (using 50% booster item and castle skin). When I send the headman that changes to 3 hours 57 minutes. When I also have the gatherer active (and send 1 extra troop to the hamlet so the timer will update) it changes to 3 hours 15 minutes. So the gatherer champ isn't making a huge difference, but it is helping even if you also have a maxed out headman.
