Certainly would help especially since it was announced it won't work if the chief doesn't refresh and claim the event. It passes by before you even know it happened. Too bad rest of clan.

Plarium support admitted to me yesterday that Facebook members got advance notice on the event. Too bad the rest of us got HOSED. If you noticed, Plarium also gave out a level of "long lived" achievement over the holidays, for Facebook members only. 

Looks like they are trying to COERCE players to join Facebook. 

I personally find this type of behavior by Plarium to be quite DESPICABLE. Perhaps if enough people contact support (as I did) to express their displeasure, then they might reconsider this misguided policy. 

Still getting a pile of excuses from support. And I notice that none of their forum moderators are bothering to comment on this situation. Looks like they want to sweep this under the rug, and hope nobody notices. 

Hopefully, more people will comment here, and mail support. Otherwise, expect Plarium to "play favorites" by only notifying select players about upcoming events. 

I agree % we all pay to play Plarium- i have no plans join facebook or twitter to get a achievement 

I play on Facebook and get never see warnings of event about to start, Devs and Mods also play this game so whichever clan they are in will know. And you can bet your bottom dollar they are in the top clans.

Wow!  Plarium gave notice on Asgard !   Maybe they actually heard us ?

Asgard notice again ! Two weeks in a row! Maybe we have a new trend for the better. 

Oh well, Plarium is back to forgeting to notify about Asgard events again. Do they really believe more people will participate when they don't have advance notice ?
