Use "media volume" on your device to control game volume, and make sure you have not selected the main device volume to be muted or turned down.

I play multiple games on my PC often at the same time.
I shouldn't have to adjust the PCs volume every time a switch games.
All the other games I play have independant volume controls and to be able to turn on/off different volume aspects of the game.

I'm bailing on the game since I can't control volume because I use my device for other audio as well.

Not that I am advocating either way for staying or going,have you not tried the game settings at the top of the page?
