If you must continue, dont be too hasty about doing anything. make sure you do some research into the game first.

Play slow and steady. If you rush things you will make decisions you want to change 4 weeks down the line.

It's almost worth playing for a short while, stopping then starting the whole thing again. 

I personally would advise to not go spending any money on this game ever, at all. 

This game can not ever be "won". Do not fall into the 'Fear of missing out trap'  No matter how good you think your town and clan are there are players who will waste a lot of money just to get near the top of a rankings list.

I myself have am having 6 weeks off the game and i'm sure I won't be missing out on anything, after all it is all just for fun.

As long as you play just to pass the time you can enjoy it.

One last thing if you are to play then please spend the time reading the posts on this forum. Start with the News updates, then the game database. If you have time general questions. 

Remember, take it easy and it's just all for fun.

Before you start, try to study this game.. Trust me, there are a lot of things which is important to know..

The basics are.. 
1. Check all the tools, what game offers you. Read all the descriptions in buildings and knowledge section.
2. Chose your troop type. (Killers, Cavalry, Range, etc.) Because at the begining its gonna be hard to learn knowledge to all the troops you own - most of the players pick at the begining with not thinking about it.. Personally I am playing with (Killers) for fighting, and (Cavalry) for yealding.
3. Events are the most effecting way  to develop your kingdom, it gives you gold and boosts and other stuff which is important. Thats why there is a clan what is an effective way to start off your journey. 

4. Resource production is verry important also, you don't have an endless amount of space for production buildings and storage, so think very carefully about which resources you will develop the most. Personally, I produce rock, silver and lumber - I am sending all resources to bank when the storage is full..

5. Remember every mistake or thing you make, it will give you experience in the game, just play it, learn it, and you will gain fun. Just enjoy it!
