These type of RTS mobile games are
really getting streamlined into basically nothing. One common theme that
has started to bother me is how little they expect from the player.
When the game goes so far as to make everything on screen dark except
for the areas it wants me to tap to  progress  forward, there is almost
zero incentive for me to pay attention to what's going on.

This
might just be a problem with me but it feels like some games have
become "tap where we say", "good job. Tap here. Ok now tap here. Ok now
pay money so you won't have to tap as much"

It
feels a full step below mindless... I feel it would be more productive
for me to zone out and stare at a wall than play these types of games cinema hd .
