Accounts temporarily locked

I keep getting this message "This account is now temporarily locked because of suspicious activity. Please try later or contact our Support Team." and support told me that if logging in multiple acc too quickly or switching between them too quickly will cause this but also said that they can't do anything and they will become active again after awhile... First how long is awhile cause seems to be many hours, second how long do I need to wait before logging in alts so this won't happen... also I've returned to game after a long break, been back for over 2months now and only now this problem has started and i've been doing everything the same as before, so why was I able to before without issues?

it seems to block all accs me and roommate have soon as one of us logs in 1-2 accs and if we log those 1-2 out or if they get kicked for some reason then they end up locked too.

Really don't understand how my roommate and I could log in all our accs no problem for over 2months and now we have hard time logging in 1 each and impossible to log in more then 1 each.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have also encountered the  same situation, but never bothered with the support team, which you suggest wouldn't have been of use anyway.

This is a crazy situation.   

What is the point of the whole of the message if they know about it already,say so, and can't or won't do anything about it? Perhaps, because, it's something they deliberately created in the first place? 

Like the whole of the game it's under their control not ours,so maybe nothing any of us here can do to really help.so apart from letting everyone else who isn't already aware and still comes here know, little point of the post.

If multiple people rapdily logging in and out of multiple accounts is a problem for them,it may just be another of their own making by encouraging players to have many accounts with the need to keep logging in and out.

Already this problem made me have no chance at cvc cause all of our accs got locked for so many hours that we lost all time we had to play, and we tried to log in just our 2 main accs and I got in and hers got locked again and so tried alts and they are all locked too... we even spent over 300$ recently on our main accs and this is how we get treated... If this keeps happening we are probably gonna just stop playing again, cause this is not how players should be treated.

kinda pissed off that we spent money and not long after we get problems like this, kinda want a refund on what we spent already! And definetly won't be spending anymore unless someone can solve this!

This is a part of the website's security mechanism and we cannot alter it individually for players. The restriction is temporary and it is lifted automatically after a while. Please pay attention to the specified situations and wait a while after logging into an account before you log into another to avoid similar situations in the future.

 Especially if the tech team are unable to do this necessary unlocking immediately there is no need contact them.

So it would be better for all concerned if the messsage said exactly this, and to only contact them if it is connected to some other issue about logging in

One faintly odd aspect of Vikings: Game of Shopping is that you have to wait for significant periods of time without making purchases in order for mega packs to become available.

Of course, impatience being the primary characteristic of shoppers they resort to devices to circumvent this curious marketing strategy.  One such device is the running of multiple accounts.  A shopper in my own kingdom faintly amazes me by running hundreds of accounts.  And I have a strong suspicion that this is the tip of an iceberg and they run hundreds more in other kingdoms.

Anyway Plarium International Ltd tolerate multiple accounts and generally tolerate the activities of shoppers for the obvious reason that their income depends on such folk.  However they don't much like their manipulation of various aspects of the marketing strategy and you will regularly see shoppers moaning that they have been precluded from buying packs for a time after they"cheat" by various methods of transferring value from one account to another.  Your "suspicious activity" experience looks to me like another response by Plarium International Ltd to what they regard as cheating by exploiting their marketing.

That would explain why your problems started after you spent money and why Plarium International Ltd maintain their "suspicious activity" tripwire after it is drawn to their attention in a ticket.

You could be correct, but I am not a shopper, and so do not do any of the transfers that may indeed be going on.

You would be right I think in your supposition that many are multymulty accounting and in effect playing themselves, and the system, which is why I can no longer take the game seriously, too much 'cheating' going on.

I have to wonder myself how many people are really playing and as to how many accounts are 'live'.

I dont consider actually playing more then 1 acc cheating, Im not buying packs with one acc to benefit another, I only buy packs to benefit the acc that is buying it, and only started alts long time ago because so many others had hyperfarms so me and roommate wanted to try it too, so we have 4 acc each, 3 each we spent on and 1 each free acc. and hyperfarms didnt work for us we just ended up playing them while we waited for good packs to show on mains.  And our alts gave most of their produced rss to other players who couldnt spend much (we like to help all players)

Also we only ever fight with 1 acc at a time, so no cheating there either. I do understand that there can be ways of cheating with multi acc, but not everyone is like that. and there should be a better way of identifying the actual cheaters.

Well from what I read, I am not doing anything wrong, I just gotta switch between acc not as quickly so that the games automated program doesnt target me again hahah...

was good to read over that again (havnt read any of the rules since I came back,until now)
