Everything about farming Assailants, Alpha Assailants, and Apostates

Hey, Throne community! Today, we're going to talk about how to attack enemies on the Kingdom map effectively. Our guide will help novices get to grips with this process more quickly and experienced Lords refresh their knowledge, or even find out some less obvious details that will improve their farming.

Let's start with the nuts and bolts. As you may already know, Assailants, Alpha Assailants, and Apostates inhabit the Kingdoms. They all have two stats. The first is health (which, in fact, represents the amount of damage that needs to be inflicted in order to destroy the enemy), and the second one is defense (a stat that decreases incoming damage).

The level of Assailants and Apostates can range from 1 to 6. The higher the level, the higher their health and defense stats. Alpha Assailants don't have levels but are much mightier than all other enemies.

The location of Assailants and Apostates depends on their level: the mightiest opponents are closer to the center of the Kingdom map, while the weakest are around its edges. There can be up to three different kinds of Assailants and Apostates in the Amarian lands at the same time (the only exceptions being during special Events).

In the center of the Kingdom lies the Dark Forest, where the Alpha Assailants dwell. Only one type of these enemies can be present at any one time on the Kingdom map.

Only the Hero can attack Assailants and Alpha Assailants. The Hero spends Stamina to do so. The higher the level of the Assailant, the more Hero's Stamina is required for a hit. The most demanding attack is an attack on an Alpha Assailant. But don't worry: Stamina that you have spent will be restored over time. The Hero's Stamina Restoration item will help you speed up this process.

By upgrading your Hero, you increase the maximum Hero’s Stamina. You can also use the Hero's Stamina item to quickly increase the current stat (the maximum value is 500,000 units). But remember that restoration won't take effect until the Hero's Stamina is less than their current maximum reserve, as specified in the Hero window.

You can purchase the Hero's Stamina and Hero's Stamina Restoration items in the Item Store and as part of Bank offers.

Now, it's time to talk about fighting. There are two types of attack:

- Normal – one march is performed and one hit is landed

- Heavy – one march is performed and several hits are landed until the Assailant is destroyed or the Hero runs out of Stamina

The Hero has a chance to land a critical hit that takes off twice as much health.

There is also an enhanced attack bonus: the Hero's offense is increased by 15% with each new march on the same Assailant or Alpha Assailant. Initially, the maximum bonus cannot be more than 75%, but it increases over time. The bonus is retained for an hour from the moment of the last hit. Note: if you decide to attack another Assailant or Alpha Assailant, the enhanced attack bonus will be reset to zero.

To fight Assailants effectively, we recommend that you carry out several normal attacks to earn the enhanced attack bonus and then destroy the enemy using a heavy attack.

To improve the Hero's stats (Stamina reserve and its restoration, enhanced attacks, crit chance, and so on), upgrade Skills, conduct Studies in the Academy, equip your Hero with the right gear, for example, the Savage’s set, and use Boosts in time.

There is a unique item that allows you to significantly speed up farming Assailants: the Hero's Double. When you apply it, your Hero gets a twin that you can send to attack as well.

It is important to remember that the Hero's Double and Hero have a common Stamina reserve, equipment, Experience, and enhanced attack bonus. Thus, if the Hero attacks an Assailant and the Hero's Double attacks another one, the enhanced attack bonus is reset. This will be much more useful if they both attack the same opponent. In this way, you will earn the maximum bonus more quickly and destroy the Assailant.

You can get the Hero's Double item as a reward for completing monthly Quests or purchase it as part of a Bank offer.

Now a few words concerning exiling Apostates. Only the Inquisitor can do this. The principle of attacking Apostates is the same as for the Hero's attacks on Assailants. There are just a few differences:

- The Inquisitor has the Faith stat instead of Stamina

- Changing the active Inquisitor resets the enhanced attack bonus

- The Inquisitor doesn't have equipment that increases offense against the Apostates

- The Inquisitor doesn't have a Double

Why is it worth fighting against these enemies on the Kingdom map? For attacking Assailants and Alpha Assailants, you receive materials that are used for crafting various pieces of equipment (including equipment from the Arsenal and Assailants’ equipment) as well as items, resources, and jewels. The same materials drop from the four ordinary Assailants and Alpha Assailants. Special jewels drop from Alpha Assailants. You can view the list of items that can be dropped by Alpha Assailants in our knowledge base.

Attacking Apostates gives you a chance to get rune shards, items, and resources.

These are all the important rules for hunting Assailants, Alpha Assailants, and Apostates. Post your farming tips below!

Yielding of apostates crypts is unnecessarily slow and hampers the growth of players.  If you are not online when the new apostate is released, you may not see a l6 apostate in most older kingdoms.   1 million shards is a difficult task and plarium has insisted on making it even more unobtainable by not generating an adequate supply of l6 apostates.   Not to mention the ridiculous drop rate of the good rune shards.

Mentioning the external stronghold or stronghold as some call it has an Inquisitor bonus, if captured by your Alliance which is helpful doing Apostates, if wondering. I scanned through this stuff quickly and I might have missed it.

Yes.

'Eternal Stronghold'

[Francais calls it Bastion, as they do their Citadel, frequently. The term change between languages often confuses in chat when players use their non-native / non-game language.]

Dedicated: +10% Inquisitor's offense / Faith restoration / critical hit.
