Equipment against Assailants

A guide in english and german language for equipment and hero's skills to fight Assailants with multilingual gear profiles as graphics...

...see also: Alpha-Killer Guide by !-AIX-!

Assailants fighting equipment

...should be one of the first things you should get because, in addition to Assailants studies and hero's skills against Assailants, it helps to save hero stamina, thus improving effectiveness.

Stamina is an attribute that only the hero possesses.
Troops do not have stamina. Likewise, the Inquisitor has no influence in fighting Assailants.
Accordingly, the use of Malachite in equipment that does not serve to actively combat Assailants by the hero is useless.
...Whereas Nephrite would be useful in other hero equipment, but is usually a slot waster and only seems to be useful in passive equipments (offline), but even then it is still of little importance and is largely negligible (...processing into Glittering Dust for the citadel arena).

The Bear Helmet can be produced with hero on level 45.

It is recommended to use only the legendary quality and not to waste materials for intermediate quality levels.

The materials necessary for the production can be obtained mainly by fighting against Savages (or Alpha-equivalent Black Inquisitor). (Edit, 29. Sept. 2021, due to recent change:) Only the Predator Hide needed for the weapon is supplied by the Vandals (or Alpha-equivalent Bloody Duke).  The Predator Hide has changed to Predator Fang (needed for the weapon). With this, all materials are now supplied by the same Assailant.

For enhancement of the gear with jewels, Citrine (marching speed), Malachite (stamina reserve) and for lack of better alternatives, Nephrite (stamina regeneration) are recommendable. There is no suitable rune for fighting Assailants.

The free slots can be filled with whatever is useful for a busy hero at the same time (e.g. increasing the city's resource production) or with what will be done in between with the hero (e.g. tile hits against camp thieves), ...similarly in this context, an Inquisitor can be used to support secondary tasks.

The Hero skills against Assailants

The hero skills against Assailants are stored in a separate tree structure next to the general hero skills. This means that they are independent from the other skills.

There are two conceivable configurations for the hero setup (gear and skills), namely an active setting for fighting Assailants and, if necessary, a passive setting with increased Hero's Stamina Regeneration (for example for offline times).

With hero level 55, the hero has the important 65 skill points at his disposal for distribution over his hero's skills, which is also sufficient for the maximum damage bonus for serial attacks (600% damage bonus due to 15/15 points for Enhanced Attack).

With the additional 5 points and up to hero level 60, the maximum of 70 skill points against Assailants is reached and only some time can be saved. You have to decide how you want to distribute your skills advantageously, because 30, of the total 100 points of all skills, can never be used.

A maximum of 5 points can be saved in the Hero's Stamina Regeneration and the remaining 25 points will finally be missed in the Skill Second Wind, assumed that you should definitely maximize the Skills Hero's Fury and Enhanced Attack.

For these logical and other economic reasons the priority is relatively clear in the described way and does not allow much reasonable leeway.

Conclusion of the following explanations:

The saving of time by increasing the stamina reserve (Second Wind) is illusionary and only seemingly possible and to focus on the use of Hero's Stamina Regeneration is insufficient.

If you want to use and maximize the Hero's Stamina Regeneration, you could use points from the skill Second Wind (because the increased stamina reserve only saves time by reducing the number of attacks necessary for an Assailant). ...An optimized use of the stamina regeneration will not be discussed further here, however, since it is not a recommendable strategy and is generally inadequate due to its ineffectiveness. It is neither suitable for scoring at events (= gold income), nor can it permanently cover the amount of materials needed to produce equipment.

The influence of Hero's Fury and Enhanced Attack determines for how many Assailants the limited (or expensive) stamina is sufficient in total. This means that they are important because they go beyond simply saving time and, due to their economically positive influence on stamina consumption, can increase the hero's effectiveness against Assailants.

The reverse conclusion confirms this: The strategy of maximizing Second Wind in order to require fewer attacks and less time per Assailant through increased stamina reserves does not work out in the end, because it contradicts the other skills and reduces their effect (which is not advantageous or advisable even if you can buy stamina unlimited from the bank).

Effort to fight Assailants

With maximized hero (skills, studies and equipment) as well as bonus (10 % reduced stamina consumption) and boost: More damage of the hero (1 hour, +20 %), you need about 50 K stamina (40 attacks and a serial attack at 600% damage bonus) for an Alpha-Assailant.

Stamina consumption and the number of attacks needed vary and depend on the number of critical hits (data with bonus and boost, as mentioned above):

  • Alpha: 50 K (926 per hit), 41 attacks (serial attack, damage bonus 600 %)
  • Level 6: 17 K (626 per hit), 27 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 405 %)
  • Level 5: 12 K (544 per hit), 22 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 330 %)
  • Level 4: 6 K (463 per hit), 13 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 195 %)
  • Level 3: 3 K (381 per hit), 8 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 120 %)
  • Level 2: 1'630 K (272 per hit), 6 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 90 %)
  • Level 1: 650 K (163 per hit), 4 attacks (no serial attack, damage bonus 60 %)

  • Level 6: 17 K (626 pro Angriff), 27 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 405 %)
  • Level 5: 12 K (544 pro Angriff), 22 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 330 %)
  • Level 4: 6 K (463 pro Angriff), 13 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 195 %)
  • Level 3: 3 K (381 pro Angriff), 8 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 120 %)
  • Level 2: 1'630 K (272 pro Angriff), 6 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 90 %)
  • Level 1: 650 K (163 pro Angriff), 4 Angriffe (kein Serienangriff, Schadensbonus 60 %)

Note that support has confirmed that neither Malachite nor Nephrite has any effect when used on an Inquisitor.

And, as Inquisitors aren't in play during Assailant attacks, nothing about them has any bearing upon doing so.

No, inactive hero profiles are death data (saved values, a set of settings). As usual, you have to load (activate) a hero profile first to apply its features.

But besides equipment for "active" Assailants fights by the hero, equipment for "passive" times when you are offline and not playing (or your hero isn't actively fighting Assailants) is also conceivable, for which the Nephrite and the very slow stamina regeneration of the hero would be suitable in any case.

Active activities and passive tasks should not be confused with activated or inactive profiles. The purpose of an "inactivity fitting" means not that inactive elements (like profiles and gear) gets applied. - It's like with winter clothes, in the closet or on a clothing list they do not warm you.

...

For every Nephrite in your (currently active) hero equipment your hero will get the juwel bonus (as it is the case with any other gear enhancement bonus) and your Hero's Stamina Regeneration will be +3 % faster. And yes, 6 Nephrites will be +18 %.

(...This is a matter of the active equipment and its enhancements with jewels and has nothing to do with the hero's profiles. For sure, you will be able to save it in a profile and load it from there, thats what a hero profile is for.)

Its to see in your Palace Statistics / Hero / Hero's Stamina Regeneration. Studies are permanent bonuses and gear bonuses applies if your hero is wearing the gear...

Old:

The Predator Hide needed for the weapon 'Bec de Corbin' is supplied by the Vandals (or Alpha-equivalent Bloody Duke).

New:

The Predator Hide needed for the weapon 'Bec de Corbin' before, has changed to Predator Fang now. With this, all materials are now supplied by the Savage (or the Black Inquisitor).
