Here at Plarium, we listen to our player base and take the desires of our community very seriously. We understand that silver can be difficult for some players to maintain in RAID: Shadow Legends and it has only become harder to keep up since the successful addition of the Doom Tower. While we do like that everything from upgrading gear, removing gear, ranking champions, and even scratching your nose costs silver, there has been an overwhelming push from the community for more ways to alleviate the burden of a low silver fund. That is why we are now introducing Artifact Tokens!

What are Artifact Tokens?

These tokens are an item that can be used instead of silver to remove gear from champions.

How do Artifact Tokens function?

Once introduced to the game, when removing an artifact from a champion, there will be two options available. One option will continue to be using silver to remove an artifact. The second option is new and will be the choice to use Artifact Tokens instead of silver to remove a gear piece from a champion. 

The number of Artifact Tokens used to remove each piece of gear from a champion will be based on the number of stars for the artifact piece. A 1* artifact will require 1 Artifact Token to remove, a 2* artifact will require 2 Artifact Tokens to remove, and so forth up to a 6* artifact will require 6 Artifact Tokens to remove.

How to acquire Artifact Tokens?

The best part of Artifact Tokens is they will be part of the Playtime Rewards for just logging into the game! Once introduced, there will be a new reward to claim at the 120 minute mark which will be “Artifact Token x2.” Each day, you will receive two Artifact Tokens for just playing the game. Just think! After six days, you will have enough tokens to remove two 6* artifacts! Additionally, Artifact Tokens will become part of the rewards for events and tournaments.

When will you see Artifact Tokens?

We are still working on implementing Artifact Tokens, but you will see them introduced to the game in the coming weeks.
