For Spider 20, I use Visix and Coldheart for turn meter control on the mama, Apoth for healing, AOE HP burn for damage, I use Drexthar and Sicia, but I don't see them. one HP burn and One crowd control (AOE stun or freeze) should work too.

I would add that I don't worry about damage as much as ACC, HP, and SPD

• UDK (spiderling tank)
• CH (TM + boss killer)
• kymar (skill reset)
• visix (TM, disable a2 and a3)
• apoth (healing, speed boost)

I havent built out UDK yet.  Can anyone give me suggestions for stats or special gear?

UDK went down fast, then Visix, Kymar, Coldheart and Apo.  Do I add more Def to all of them?  UDK has 4274 Deft and 178 Speed.  Do I need a reviver?

The goal here is to hold out long enough that Apothecary and Ultimate can keep up with the healing, letting Ultimate tank anything.

You could always provoke with Visix so that she tanked some of that damage long enough to get your resets on your Heartseeker from Coldheart, but that's a bandaid.

The real fix is to have DK fast enough to place his shield... then Kymar resets the shield and he places again. His+ Apothecaries healing should get him back to placing the shield again. This gives you time to Coldheart the boss to death.

How much speed for UDK to do the job?  I can get more speed but less Def

What resist do you have on UDK? You want him to be as close to 300 RES as possible. I expect what killed him is not the damage, but the poisons.

Yeah 100% that's your problem. The low HP isn't great either.

UDK is interesting because you literally can ignore all of his other stats. Just pump up his HP and RES. You can afford to drop speed and some DEF.

Use something like HP%/DEF% gloves and boots (HP on one, DEF on the other), RES chest and banner, and HP/DEF ring/amulet (HP on one, DEF on the other). Should be able to get your stats to a reasonably close point.

300 resist is for sure nice if the poisons are busting through your shields. Give that build Krama suggests a try and see if you get better results. :)

Can I give up some Def to get Resist?  I will try to hold 170+ speed.

You don't need any speed. Like, literally, he could have a speed of zero and you'd be fine. They will always target him.

I would suggest dropping every stat other than HP, DEF, and RES. You want at least 3200 DEF and at most 4200 DEF.

How much HP?  If I drop speed I might have some HP boots left.  

Ideally at least 50K, but the main priority is the resist. You want him as close to 300 RES as possible. If you need, give him the green tree mastery that adds resist.

His speed is just to get his shields up for further tanking. I think that means 151 speed just to ensure he can go before the spiderlings. Spiderlings are 150 and Spider is 95 speed :)

UDK was the first to die.  I am going to put this on hold.   I need to grind out some better gear.  I dont have any RES with 3 rolls....few with 2 rolls.....

Okay so hold up. You need to provide some more information. How is he dying? Is the boss getting any turns at all? Is he dying because you can't heal him back fast enough, or is your healer not even getting the chance to heal him?

The spiderlings kill him.  They take their turns and he is gone.  I dont think Apo gets chance to heal.  I wlll rewatch a battle to make sure.
