message and mail notifications showing nonexistant contenet

This is happening across at least three games...Pirates, Sparta and Total Dom...

the message notifications show that there are/is messages from Tinker/Tech when there are no new messages.

The mail notification shows new mail and there is none.


Is this MY problem or yours??

I am also having this issue.  The system is showing that I have 1 unread mail message (letter)  but no unread mail message exists that I can see.  

I have reset the cashe and reloaded and restarted the browner without any success.

I too began to have this issue yesterday. Captain's Desk/Letters shows 3 but there are none.

I installed a completely new brwoser (Maxthon) and the problem still exists.

This issue is around for a while now and apparently plarium developers forget to remove this bug in new update codes. We reported this multiple times but there is no permanent solution for this yet.



a simple refresh will solve the issue though

They didn't forget about it, Fazi. they're working on a fix. It will take some time to test it when it's ready.

A refresh does not make the false number indication go away. I've tried for days.

ok everyone have same problems  and plarium knows about that 

why so much noise about that , it is not something what stop you playing or cost you anything in the game ....they will fix it....give them time...

or if any of you know how to fix it faster help them LMAO

I too have this bug.  Been around for about 3 days so refresh or logout doesn't fix it.

I gotta agree patience is great and all but its been almost a year now for this one bug. It got way better than what it was. And no refreshing doesn't get rid of it all the time anymore. 

Best solution I have is get a sticky note cut it up to about the size of the notification and attach it to your screen.Problem solved. well at least if you're like me and tweak when notifications don't go away. 


A more practical one though that does work sometimes. Delete all messages or reports then log out and back in. A royal pain but it helps sometimes.

NightWolf you are correct that it does not cost me anything, but how do i know if I am missing an important mail?  I currently show 6 mails available to be read, but my box is empty.  I have no way of knowing if there really are 6 mails from people i need to respond to, or if they are ghosts.

@TAYLOR-K all real mails you will see , those you dont see are not mails , just a bug
