Probably not enough of a market to profit off sales of physical items, and giving away the 3D models brings no profit so there's no justification for the devs to do so - especially if they need cleaning up to work as physical items (you did want them articulated, right?)  And selling the 3D files won't work, because the first one you sell will be shared on the Internet about 2.3ms later.
