cannot go in the game ( connection loss ) for 30 min

around 30 min ago, i have be quick off the game with a connection lost message...


no maintenance was planned


have clean my cache several time


try maybe 10 time to start the game ( on pc via plarium.com )... it load at 95% and then the "connection lost" error...


Are they other with the same problem ?

i am mad at plarium now...


trying to login normally and i have :




but using a VPN for hide my IP, i have :




so, plarium is blocking me... probably because i have login in my 4 other city just before... as some have explain on the forum, you are blocking people who login often or have more account...


It is insane to block customer... don't use a nuclear bomb for stop a mosquito... you will have plenty of innocent victim as collateral damage and you will loose customer...


And yes, i am a paying customer... one the the guy who help you to have your salary at the end of the month... for evidence, my expense with plarium between 8 and 11 september ...





stop blocking your paying customer... playing via vpn is a no go due to the huge lag...


and please, don't reply by a "refresh your browser", i have do it... in fact, it is the refresh who have lead to several login/logoff... due to the blinking of button who appear from time to time and make it difficult click by exampple when hitting a invader...


Now, it explain why plenty of people in my clan have problem to connect to the game and have similar error...


Solve this as fast as possible...

@ANESFAN hey bud, did you connect to few other accounts befor this one ? if yes then your ip will be blocked for 2hours we are already talking about this in another topic

Not sure what plarium devs are smoking but it is not the way to stop hacker who do ddos attack.


A ddos attack is thousand of connection in a few minutes... hacker are not stupid and can use VPN too for gain access...


Why they don't do as most site, simply a good catcha during the loggin... a good one will stop most of the robot used for ddos attack...


Now, they are punisihing loyal customer... if they continue, they will loose they stream of money and the game will die... they are really shooting in their own foot like idiot.


Have see now the other topic... have be away from the forum for a time due to a complex merging of my clan with one from a other kingdom... but i am back now...

i agree that there is other options to avoid ddos attacks without causing issues to loyal customers.

I have think about it... the previous ddos attack was creating hundred of thousand account in plenty of kingdom...


These accounts was low lvl with 150 influence, never having buy something, having default name who begin by player_123456789...


With these parameter, it is very easy to create a filter who block hacker/spammer

Given all the complaints about bugs, and forum programming experts suggesting fixes ,it would suggest  that the programmers  might not be as adept as we would like them to be.

However  there is the alternative  point of view, that it may serve other purposes that they do this. 

As to the catchpa suggestion.

I have found the one they use  for us to log in to the forum is problematic, and have on many occasions had to do more than one of the puzzles, which isn't of much use if you want to reconnect to the game quickly.

I already suggested in a different thread that they have a database so that players with static IPs can register their IP as "safe to connect". At least this eliminates the problem for people with static IPs.

When you have a specific IP linked to a specific account, it is easy to kill the account if the IP proves to be malicious. This way, you are selectively killing malicious accounts. Attackers will eventually stop their attacks as they prove to be useless.


Additionally, you may have safe IPs removed from the database if they do not login for a week or so, since regular players do not stay offline that long. When they come back, they can re-register their IP.

Let me throw a nuclear bomb out.  I suggest a Developer read the forums daily instead of passing it to them via a middle man.  Additionally, Developers and Hosting administrators(the IP Blockers) are different people.  You may need a hosting administrator on here too.  Input from them would make players feel better.

The game is getting worse. I have been virtually unable to play for the last 24hrs due to kicks and lag. One of my clan mates lost connection and got locked out for over an hour while pillaging. When he logged back in he had been levelled, losing 60 mill of troops and all his resources. Great when it all goes to hell during kvk. Another own goal by Plarium

I have the same problem. Since 5 hours I try to start the game with my laptop (pc). It loads up to 77% and than it says "connection lost". I already cleaned my "plarium profile", I cleand my google chrome. I tried to start the game with firefox, I downloaded the plarium browser. Always I get the same error "connection lost". Can somebody help, please?

Hi


I have the same problem as you GNUF ... game loads up to 77% and then "Connection lost" error appears. Clearing cache not helping, using Firefox, Chrome and/or edge not helping ... Plarium not helping. They just keep answering that I must have bad connection or PC troubles ... well this is not the case.

PLARIUM PLEASE SOLVE THE ISSUE AND INSTALL CAPTCHA OR SOMETHING ... I also spend a lot of € so please listen to the costumers ...

So i'am not the only one with connection issues, over and over again i get lag (not responding) and get kicked out , i try to get back in so many times, it is so frustrating. I spend a reasonable amount of money with them, and or they do is blame some other thing as the reason. I get scared to raid in case the game freezes leaving me with my shields down, and even worse can't get back in. For a company to be celebrating 5 years and with all these problems, you think they would have learnt what to do. I have to not spend any more money with them as i'am not getting the service.
