Plarium. Do you support resources black market?

Hi to the moderators and community members.

I think it would be useful for players to find out Plariums stance on buying resources  from other players for real money. Im not talking about in game packs. Im talking making arrangement outside of the game and paying to farmers for billions of resources you should not have.

This kind of transactions is called "Black Market" in other games. How does Plarium feel about it? What are the steps Plarium takes to prevent it. What are precautions for such transactions for involved parties?

Reason I  bring this up is because we witness a top guy on our server leave his clan during cvc. Join open clan in our kingdom (with 3 players) port to another kingdom . Stay in the corner. Few minutes later lvl 6 shielded town from completely another kingdom ports next to this guy. Shield drops. The guy pillages 8 billion resources. Then this player ports back to his original kingdom and back to his original clan.  His pillage score soared in past 2 months from 5 b to 50+ He was caught in act of getting resources. Screens were taken.

We reported this issue to support and got bogus replay. Replay clearly stated that support did  not understand the problem.

Please consider the fact that with new patch one person can now ruin the game for anyone on the server. Clan he is part of is at war with rest of the server since the beginning. Legitimate players will lose armies and money they invested in to their accounts. It discourages people from playing.

I do not reveal details in public space yet. I can provide more detailed description and screenshots if needed.

What do other members of this community think about this problem? Maybe plarium should introduce extra tools for players to use for reporting such actions?

Very unlikely. He dos not play on another kingdom. That town was from different kingdom. People keep alts in their own kingdom so they can get resources on demand, not rely on luck to get connected with alt bank from different kingdom.

Here is what I mean. The guy in question is from kingdom A. His clan faces enemy(enemy kingdom is B) and he can port there. He leaves his clan. Joins one of the clans on server with open admission. Ports to kingdom C. Town level 6 with billions of rss ports to kingdom C from kingdom D. What are the odds?

Here is the catch. It was more than one time in past few weeks. Same scenario. Kingdoms were always different. What are the odds of this happening?

At the same time there are people who contact in LINE chat and offer resource for sale. Its not a conspiracy theory. Its been going on for long time. But this time around many people saw him doing the pillage. It was very obvious. Screenshots were taken.

For the community to hear. Plarium as a company has no integrity.  Support is non existent. They do not investigate. Just wait few days to give you this canned response -

Dear Jarl,

We assure you that there are no hacks for the game. We constantly check for cheats available online and none of them work. Thank you for the information.

The case was not about cheats. It was about player buying resources for money. Looks like Plarium does not have instruments to properly investigate any kind of resource purchase. Any player can just buy billions of resources from those LINE sellers and not worry about being banned.

So it is official. Plarium supports/does not care  about black market. You pay for packs, other players also buy resources to get advantage. Guess who wins?

Lets see if gaming online publication will want to write a story about this wonderful company. I dont i know a single case were Plariums support resolved the case in any meaningful way. They can restore account access in case you lost it. That is it. As long as you buy packs and dont ask questions, you are a good customer. Any problems you encounter with the game you will get one outcome- brushing off.

Well I don't know if there was a really resource trade or not. It is possible. Also, as Corgi said they already implemented some things(vault capacity for receiving resources for towns below level6) to prevent these things.

However the difficulty is this; how can you prove that he sold resources? Are there any written document that shows it? If, not Plarium can't do a thing about it. You can't ban a person because he gets attacked by a low-level player and lost a lot of resources. Ok, the situation might be suspicious but if Plarium bans players just based on some suspicion, I wouldn't want to play the game anymore, because it means that someday my account might get banned if I make a silly mistake and lose my resources.

So I don't know what do you want them to do at this point. If you have more information like the chat logs that shows there is an illegal activity and Plarium doesn't do anything despite this logs, then I could say you are right, they have no integrity, but without this i respect your opinion but can't support your claim.

ORKMASTERUH,

I understand were you are coming from. I believe you misread my claim. He did not sell, he bought resources. Have you read very first post? There is evidence of player makes all sorts of moves. Its was not the case of  finding someone else bank, which dropped shield and he got lucky. His Pillage rate grew in past two month from 2b to 54b. It was not luck. In case reported he pillaged 8b resources.

He only has 2700 victories. Divide 54b by 2700 and you will get average pillage rate for the guys entire game history - 20m every single fight. We have player in our clan with 34b pillaged, his victory score is 16500. That is quite a big difference dont you find?

Person in question was seen porting to corner, waiting for level 6 town port to him. It was prearranged. Those are not coincidences.

To the contrary of your argument, I do not want to play the game were players will buy resources they cant buy for reasonable price out of packs. Then those players build armies and upgrade their knowledge. All while i have to farm and login every 3 hours to send resources off to bank to store. This guy is not bothered with that. His play time is 6w 0d. Mine is 16w 0d. That is the difference.

So this is not just baseless assumption. Its combination of very high pillage rate in short period of time, combined with very moderate fighting(20m rss on average per fight).  Every other account in our kingdom has different battle stats. They play, they pillage, they fight. He was like that up until 2 months ago. He wasnt very active player at all. His clan primarly traps, he had 44m kills from those traps in year and a half. Then sudden jump in pillage numbers and sudden growth in influence. He jumped from infl  1.3b to 3.7b in 7 weeks.

So my claim is still stands. Its not about being jealous. Im 1b player myself. I'm well aware of how much it takes in boosts to get this high. He did invest a lot of money in packs. I'm not trying to question that. So did I . Main limiting factor for me were resources. One level 15 upgrade requires 3.5b silver alone. Getting it from packs is VERY expansive. Farming and hyper farming in town is not enough(he barely stays online, in 1.5 years he only played 6 weeks).

If screenshots of the pillage process is not enough. If getting caught how he moved from his clan, to another clan, just to be ported in completely different kingdom, so that lvl 6 town can port to him from yet another kingdom, is no evidence of prearranged meeting. It was done multiple time. Our clan saw two such pillages. It was all reported to plarium with screens, coordinates, time stamps. There is no better evidence player will present.

If all of this is no evidence. Then Im sorry, I dont want to play such game.

So what's the problem? Just contact those guys and tell them you want to buy some rss, ask for details, then make screenshots and send them to support. As ORKMASTERUH already said Plarium needs logs to ban them. That's it.

Yes thats exactly what i say. Nagval I understand your point and yes they are probably selling/buying resources, but just based on assumptions you can't ban players. Even if the actions are really suspicious. For example, there can be such defenses without the written evidence; oh yes. He is my friend and i just wanted to give him a kickstart. Didn't know it was forbidden... or well he was on our Kingdom previously and i attacked him by mistake on a resource tile. He stopped playing and opened account on another Kingdom, i was just offering compensation.

There can be lots of scenarios.  I am just saying this, you can't ban players based on assumptions.

We did that. We opened 6 tickets. Plarium doesn't care. We already bought rss. Reported ourselves to Plarium as well. Nothing. They "didnt find anyting " bogus response. on all of our tickets

You don't have to worry about being banned for buying something from other players. First time I encountered such ignorance from developers to economy of the game. As long as you dont hack game engine, they dont care. You can bot, you can sell your characters, you can do things other games consider illegal.

Good luck  guys. I'm out. I see no point in supporting this company.

hmm... it is really weird. First you were saying that we don't need more evidence, the actions were clear, now you say you already bought rss and reported yourselves. If so, please attach a screenshot of the conversation which shows you purchased in-game rss, so we can send mails from different accounts to Plarium.  but i doubt that we will receive such screenshot.... something is not right here.

The case was open on June 17th. Right after we saw the guy doing all those things I described. No response was given from Plarium support. I went here and opened this topic to attract some attention from support team(July 19th). Then we started getting responses from support such as this.

Dear Jarl,

We assure you that there are no hacks for the game. We constantly check for cheats available online and none of them work. Thank you for the information.

This response was given on July 21.I asked again. Ok, what did you find? In response more useful comments are given. Such as this:

This game is free to play. This means it is up to you to decide how to play: to spend no money and develop your own strategy or to speed up the process with some investments. All Vikings have the same chance of becoming the Konung. Wish you glorious victories!

What does even mean in the light what was asked.

Support got all the screens. They have access to logs, they can produce response. Developers have logs they can check and see who got ported where, when and how interaction unfolded.5 of our clan members tried this whole support thing. We all got canned responses. Im not arguing with them saying nothing was found. We've got no response which even indicates something was done. "This game is free to play line" is all over android reviews. Its not relevant to question which was asked.

On July 20th, We decided to test if buying rss is real thing. Maybe we imagined it. Paid for 5b of stone(it was 20$). Took all screens of how it went on. Reported to Plarium. Got same responses as above. Word for word. Sorry but its just not right.

There are even websites which sell accounts. Use russian to english translator, get yourself few towns  for 57$. go to limeside .ru website and look for vikings. Just dont try to convince yourself that plarium cares about their player base and created fair environment. I had my fair share of fun. I dont regret putting $3820 in to the game.

I've got my answer from this interaction. I tried rss buying service, I know that its real. Will see if game review publications think there is a story.
